  • Hi all.

Hope everyone is doing ok this afternoon. 1st November already, where did that come from?

    Happy belated birthday Dawn.

So I've been AWOL for a couple of weeks cos things have been, well, manic. With work, with home, & it's really gotten me down. So hugs to anyone that also needs them.

I don't even know what dfw things I will be doing for what's left of this week. I will have a think. I need to get well and truly back on the bandwagon tomorrow. But I just wanted to say hello cos I missed posting.

    Hope that's ok.

    Beans.

Afternoon all! Quiet day for me today. Feeling a bit rubbish - just like the weather!
Have checked surveys and close to cashing out on OnePulse again. £19 so far on OnePoll.
Veg stir fry for tea to clear out the fridge.
I suppose I MUST sort another box out for the move, but right now me and the eldest are watching Toy Story whilst I get sleepy baby cuddles. So right now the world can wait :smileyhea

    Afternoon all!

I woke early today and feel so much better for it, I feel like I've at least got some 'stuff' done.

    So far I have:

    Dropped prescription at GPs
    Dropped next FBA parcel
    Dropped 3 X eBay parcels
Bought packing tape and bin liners
Emptied all bins and put wheelie out ready for tomorrow
Tidied the inside of the car
    Put the dishwasher on
    Put the washing machine on
Opened a couple of weeks worth of post :o
Recycled most of the post :D
    Watered garden
    Reorganised the unsold eBay stuff
Defrosting YS chicken and cheese to go with a YS enchilada kit
Eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes on toast for lunch (me)
    Boiled eggs and soldiers (DS)

    Still to do:
Check out cheaper places for getting barcodes generated that still work
Place another order with the printer
    Send off electoral register form
Look into whether it's cheaper to get life insurance through new Union or online, I don't think I decreased mine when I reduced my mortgage.
    Any other paperwork
Hang up uniform so it doesn't need ironing
    Cook said enchiladas
Get my bank card back from DS
Try to sort out my website which I stuffed up yesterday and had to wait 24 hours for it to reset
Clean the fish and put courgette in to catch worms
    Bath and The Apprentice :D
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

    Hello Wednesday Penny-Wranglers,
Busy day.....sort of a 'Meeting Sandwich' as I had a meeting this morning & still have another one to go out to tonight. In between, I've had to do my packing & lots of other bits & bobs. Oh well, I'll kick in my list to show willing:
*Had a few things to pick up for holiday - remembered to pay with correct budget (this saves so much faffing around with calculators) & got everything on my list, except a reel of black thread from own-label ranges rather than branded.
*Free coffees in Waitrose today....not spend-free as we treated ourselves to a very modest lunch, but this was bought from our 'Personal Spends' so will be budget-neutral.
*Watered the few edibles still left in the garden - rocket, basil, parsley & cabbages.
*Baked bread & jam buns to take away with us.
*Also made up tupperware pots of crumble mix, dumpling mix & rice pudding dry ingredients to take so as to give us a few more spend-free meals while we are there. We're taking a chicken to roast so I shall still be doing rubber chicken despite being over 300 miles away!
    *Did a survey.
That's about it, really, for money-saving, despite being flat out busy all day. Must crack on, as need to get my baking packed away & also need to eat early so as to get out to my meeting.
    Bye,
    F xx

    Hi everyone

Oooh, FVD - thanks a lot!
1LL - I hope you felt better after your trip to the gym. Exercise is great for helping you snap out of it, isn't it? :)

I've just ditched my santander a/c for the 123 lite version, saving £4 a month in account fee. Will lose a bit in interest but not that much. :T

I'm out tonight straight from work and then working job#2 @ 8pm... It's got 'long day' written all over it... :p

    Usual today:
    Cheapo porridge brekkie
    Leftovers for lunch
Home on lunch so no shopping :naughty:
    Working job#2
    Checked banking/sorted YNAB
    PAD to cc

Take care everyone - catch up on t'other side!
    xxx
  • Morning all.

Hope everyone is ok. Work is still what can only be described as frantic but I huge task ticked off yesterday, another today (fingers crossed)

    Other things:
Check banking, update sheet after 1st month things have gone out
    Something from freezer for tea
Make some bread rolls for hot dog rolls for smalls for tea (friend over)
Make some biscuits or cakes too for ^^
Washing drying on airer, do some radiator shuffling later if I put heating on, have left it off for now
    Make quiche
Message mum to see if there is anywhere particular she wants to go tomorrow
    Walk tonight with friend

    Enjoy your days peeeps.
  • Aaarrrgh just lost post, let's go again.

Thank you for ur good wishes everyone, haven't been doing masses but have been getting stuff done. Lots of leg elevation as I have hospital tomorrow.....can already feel another row coming.
1LL hoping that ur mood has lifted. Not always that easy I know but I hope you are feeling happier and just better within urself.

Purps when I first read ur post I read 'message quiche'!!! I was like that's interesting what's this all about lol

I've bananas going off so multi tasked yesterday, made phone calls while making banana pancakes. With the rest of the bananas I'm going to make some banana bread today.
All banking gone thru with a fine tooth comb, esp with it being the start of the month and d.debits going out. Everything good.
Cat cleaning all done, did a thorough clean yesterday so not fully needed until tomorrow now.
Another parcel packed and ready to send with DDs old Wii games. Nearly cleared a storage box in her room so feeling good about that.
Hoping to do some paint touching up today-either damage from claws or wheelchair.
Tesc@ vouchers have arrived, not a massive amount but will use them to get DD boyfriend Christmas present-spiced rum. Neutral but useful spend as DD hasn't the best taste in boys but this one is lovely and looks like a keeper......and has lasted!!!!! His parents have been really lovely with DD and live on the way to uni so she often stops off there for a cuppa to break up her journey.
Hoping the weather holds as I have loads to go out on the line.
Have a great day everyone x

    Afternoon all :)
Damp, misty day here, though the sun did peep through for a little while at lunchtime, gone again now though :(
    Today's tasks:

Sent OH for a small top up shop, as he was meeting a friend in the supermarket car park. Needless to say, he spent twice what I would have done  (Done)
Label up and take items to sales unit and rearrange to make it look nice ready for the weekend. Sold something that I have had for ages while I was in there :) (Done)
Listed a few things on ebay, very slow at the moment (Done)
BLT for lunch from food items we already have in (Done)
Bathed dog, which he didn't like :rotfl:

    Still to do:
    Check banks Done
Check for surveys Just a few really slow ones for onepoll so far
Update grocery spend in signature Done, shouldn't need anything else for a while
Make fish cakes for dinner :)Done, yum!
Another dog walk, unless OH decides to do it OH did it
Some cleaning / tidying, plenty to choose from! Been pretty lazy today - just a bit of tidying really :o
Sow cress seed :)Sowed some mixed seeds instead, see how they turn out.
