    Evening all!

I was working today but DS had his induction at a new job so I timed my lunch hour to drive home and drop him there, ah, the joys of working locally, I'd never have been able to do that before! :D

I managed to get two small blocks of cheese reduced by 75% so will be having on of those grated on a jacket potato for dinner. DS has decided to meet his friends for a drink as its someone's birthday.

Things are still ticking nag over on Amazon, I seem to be selling a couple a day on the two lines fulfilled by them. I've just sent another three lines to them to see if them fulfilling (and thus being able to offer Prime) is the magical formula. My website is almost good to go too, I just need to take a nice header pic early next week.

Tonight I plan to just watch EastEnders and eat and to that end I have already demolished a bar of fruit'n'nut!

    Yes, where is everyone, 1LL?
    Today I have:
    Not spent anything :D
Tidied front garden this morning :)
Suprise visit from an old friend who lives abroad, she is over for a few days to see her family, and popped in for a cup of tea. First time she has been back for 2 years, and she hadn't seen some of her family members for all that time  I don't know if I could cope with not seeing my family for 2 years :( It was lovely to see her, anyway :)
Long walk with dog this afternoon :)
    HM meals from stores

Hoping for a decent night's sleep, as last night wasn't great. Hopefully the gardening /walking will do the trick - it certainly lifted my mood, anyway :)

    Evening all!

Another day at work for me, I'm still really enjoying it and managed to snaffle another couple of great plastic pots for craft supplies that otherwise get thrown, I must try to think of more uses for them :D

It's the firework display opposite my house tonight, good to see that people haven't forgotten our own traditions in favour of Halloween plus we get a free display from the comfort of our own home!

I have an eBay item to drop to the shop but I may do it in the morning, it won't go any sooner if I do it tonight plus there will be lots of traffic.

Lunch today was a YS spring roll (wouldn't recommend it) and some dry, but free, cake so can't complain. Dinner is likely to be picky bits (including some YS salami) if I can't be bothered to cook and chicken Kiev if I can.

Three more sales today so roughly £4.50 profit, not huge but if I can do that every day that pays for our food each day. If I can multiply that by 10 I'll be very happy :)

    Hello everyone,

I have a good few days of MSE.

The budget is tight as I am still waiting of a benefit payment from August. I will give it a couple more weeks and then chase it.

I am aiming for a cost neutral christmas, I have done well on surveys and cashed in for mostly Amazon vouchers, along with payments from One poll and You gov. I have spent some of the money in advance and used the CC so I need to keep an eye on the the bill and make sure I pay it on time!

I have ebayed some bits too which has a bit although one buyer has been difficult and I offered a return so I might end up having to refund her, she has been refusing to return the goods so we are a stalemate currently, I have therefore left the money in my pay pal account in case, until the returns window ends.

I am hosting bonfire tonight although the relatives are bringing most of the food. I have purchased some fire works and sparklers.

    Over and out
  • Well safe to say my optimism of Thursday morning quickly went and what can only be described as two pretty awful days at work have thankfully now been and gone. And it’s the weekend. Breathe. :D

    Today’s efforts:
Take cake to friends when we visit later. Will be homemade of course
Post card to bestie, see if I can find a stamp somewhere. Card from stash
Friend making us tea, lunch will be from stores
    Check banking
Check for surveys as these have passed me by this week but I did get £10 voucher in the post this week
    Quick tidy round
Use yogurt that was due to go out today for 3x breakfasts and a cake

Right must get on and get things ready for taking smalls dancing, cost for the month from the dancing pot. Enjoy your day.
  • Purps sorry to hear that u haven't had the best 2 days at work:(, make sure u enjoy the weekend and leave those 2 days now in the past:j

FVD it sounds like things are going really well.the decision to change pathways like you have sound like they are beginning to really pay off:j. I too was watching a lovely firework display courtesy of the neighbours opposite:) I was tucked up in bed nice and warm listening to the radio
( just a little bit louder for the cats) watching it:D.

DD is coughing and sputtering, i really hope I don't get her cold:(
    All food supplies from stores
Ended up using my Clubcard vouchers to top up on cat food and get bits for DD including the cereal advent calender:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Also got a chocolate advent calender for her-a galaxy one for a pound while morris@ns had them on a special.
Still need to send a parcel, going out this morning to do it and then we are going for a wander round the garden centre to have a look at the decs and I really need some boxes. Have just hunted out the vouchers for free cuppa there:)
Was up early, cat cleaning all done.
Will, pop out again later just to complete a couple of errands. Unfortunately parking is a real issue for me with the adaptation to the car, I can't get into the average indoor car park:( but it's a small sacrifice and the adaptation was much needed.
No heating on, window open and blue skies outside. I heard the heating kicking in overnight and first thing but generally still not using it alot
Don't think anything else planned except a quick run over with the hoover later.
Have a good day everyone x

Love that your new lifestyle is suiting you FVD :) I know you can't post it on here, but I would love a link to your items on Am*zon, perhaps you could add one to the FB page?
PF. sorry to hear about the work nightmares - I still have actual nightmares about mine  Hope next week is better.

Looked after little GD today, also got a bargain load of firewood delivered via FB. Due to our house's quite poor access, and DH's bad back, I had to trundle most of it up to the woodshed from outside the back gate, though had to abandon for a while as poorly GD was wingeing. Now DD has picked up the little one, I have cleared all the debris and have a chilli bubbling on the stove. Phew!!!

    Apart from that.... not much!
Low spend day, just some milk and icing sugar as I had run out and GD wanted to make cupcakes with cherries on top :)
Also made scones at OH's request
Must start a shopping list for tomorrow, won't be a big one.
Now enjoying a glass of wine, well deserved I think!
Nice hot bath and early night calling I think - all rock 'n' roll here :rotfl:

Good evening everyone! Sorry I've been AWOL for a few days, DS has decided that he doesn't like sleeping so as soon as he has been going to bed I've been going to bed not long after! Anyways today I took DS for his first haircut and then we went to DH nieces birthday party so had a good, fairly cheap day!

    This evening I'm hoping to:

    - Check my bank accounts
    - Check my Ebay auctions
    - Surveys

    That's about it I think! x

    Evening all!

Today wasn't such a great day and I've had the right hump! Long story short I am still waiting to be allocated a locker so have been either having to leave my purse in my car which means I spend half of my breaks walking back and forth across the car park to get/return it or leave it in an office somewhere. I opted for the latter today only to find it closed and locked when I went to collect it to buy lunch. I am not very good tempered when I am hungry!

I was tempted by a Chinese take away tonight but accidentally drove past it on auto pilot so cooked the chicken kievs instead!

More sales on Amazon but more fees too, I need to sit down and crunch numbers as I don't want to end up a busy fool!

I'm thinking of sorting a Mr T delivery for tomorrow using my new vouchers. I will look out for the cereal advent calendar, HappyKitties, DS would love it!

  • Flipping neck DawnW I bet u've got muscles like Popeye sorting out all of the firewood:eek:)

It is very handy having DD home. I put everything together for the animal charity shop including some cat food and we had 4 bags altogether. Finally managed to get this dropped off today. So happy as it was doing trips round the kitchen:T
Finally sent off my parcel and after the garden centre we managed to pick up some more boxes and another parcel is now packed and ready to send:T
Errands were completed and hoovering done as planned:A
We were a bit naughty at the garden centre. We ended up having cake with our cuppa. It was bombed out for food, it is a very popular place that has won awards for its food.
DD wanted to get a couple of bits and I absolutely love lighting. I picked up a few bits I have been really after as early Christmas presents from me to me:cool::D including a small lantern and au natural wooden tree.. The wooden tree has small delicate lights and sparkles- there were only 2 display models left. Because of being display and a small, piece of plastic missing which u can't really notice with the battery container, they gave me 20% off, I also had £5 worth of vouchers which I was able to use with buying DDs bits aswell:j
It was just nice getting out and spending time with DD, something we always try and do when she is home.
Has been a good day although I don't plan on spending any money for the rest for the week. A check of the freezer while making food before showed that i have more than enough to last:).
Lots of fireworks going off tonight, most of the cats are in hiding:(
Hope everyone is having a good evening x
