Well I've been using my Cook's Essentials pans for a couple of weeks now and I love them!
Cooked up the meat, etc for a lasagne in the stockpot which was a great size as I was making 3 lasagnes (2 to freeze before you think we are greedy!).
Used one of the smaller ones to make the cheese sauce. Was a bit dubious using my balloon whisk in it but all was well!
Wasn't sure if I would use the whole set but so far I have used them all except one.
Very impressed! :)

Any recent deals with good quality pans?

I've got a really good non stick frying pan from Matalan, but need to replace all the rest, as they have seen better days! (only 9 months old as well!)

I've seen these on the BHS website. I need some new pans - only got one at the moment!

i bought this set from rackhams this morning. The set was reduced from £200 to £100 with a further 20% off today, making it £80. I've heard alot about these pans and i especially like the handles on the Anolon Advanced set. They are more of a soft grip type of thing as opposed to the metallalic handles on the anolon professional (sorry dont know the proper technical term for the metal handles:o )

Thank you both.

Those Meyer pans are not highly rated in this thread, will have to re-read the info.

Does anyone have contact details for Judge Vista?
One of the knobs on the saucepan lid, the one I always use, became loose and I needed a new knob. I contacted A.Williams@horwood.co.uk and she sent a little kit containing all the pieces I needed to fit a new knob.
Fantastic customer service.
• I'm looking for a Risoli Fusion pan set.
I have one that my mum gave me and it's amazing - see here

Has anyone seen any bargains? ;)

Is this the same material as the Meyer Anolon pans?

Sorry, can't help AB, and the link doesn't work for me:confused:

I just wanted to butt in to ask Gingham how her JL non stick pans are holding up. I have tefal ones at the moment, but the non-stick is starting to wear, and I don't like that in my food:rotfl: I'd like something hardwearing because I have sons who sometimes cook for themselves. Enough said?;)

• Funny that - I've replaced it with another ;)
