    Good morning everyone,

DH had to scrape the car before he left for work this morning. It's a beautiful day, but autumn is well and truly here.

Iona - if I managed just half of your list, I would be happy. It exhausts me to read it!

During down time at work last week I used one of my lifetime's supply of notebooks (Fayolle ) and started writing my Toots' list room by room plus outside sheds and garden.
    .
I did the exact same thing last week! :rotfl:

So far this morning I have put on the towels to wash, emptied the DW, and will get some ironing done before tackling the LR. I also desperately need to do a freezer inventory, as it is bursting at the seams but we never seem to get a meal out of it. DH has been returning home with lots of [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] treasures from FiL's house, and thinks that everywhere will stretch to fit. Some of it will be going in the recycling for tomorrow. At the 3rd large glass soufflee dish, I drew the line .....just how many does a girl need??!

Ironing awaits. Kettle going on first if anyone wants a cuppa. X

Well done roundtuit - what an achievement!

    Thank you ionafan :o

oooh Fayolle that's either a spooky co-incidence or you wrote that you were writing your Toots' list on the thread and I subconciously absorbed this as a good idea and did the same :rotfl:

I have towels in WM merrily swishing; first load is on line - not sure if it will dry, but 'paths are dry' which always seemed to matter to mum when she was deciding whether to hang out washing or not :) I've ordered my repeat prescription - sounds easy when you write it down!!!! The surgery's phone is nearly always engaged and they encourage us to order repeat prescriptions on-line, but the one time I did it that way they denied all knowledge of receiving it when I went to collect  Never mind, I finally got through: tick - and my prepaid certificate has arrived so I'll be :money: :T

I've been happily scribbling away in my bullet journal and Toots lists book, so my brain is less ; I've also fed the birds, put the rubbish and some recycling out, made my bed, opened windows upstairs - and got dressed.... not necessarily in that order :rotfl:

    - pay DH back
    - WMx2 (plus DH has found me another load to do)
    - [STRIKE]read[/STRIKE] copied 50 pages of a college library book which has to be returned tomorrow [STRIKE]and make notes[/STRIKE] so that I don't have to make separate notes
    - take Rosie out for a walk
    - S&S kitchen
    - S&S bathroom
    - hoover and dust in study bedroom
    - get DH to hoover downstairs
    Also
    - did Level 1 in the LR :D
    - put dog crate back in D’s car (removed yesterday to accommodate DGS4's pushchair

Have made :coffee: (please help yourselves) and am about to phone round about the cost of a new tyre and then go out and get one
I will start hacking at the triffids in the front garden once the tyre is sorted.
  • Productive day so far, although I confess to being off list:

    - Volunteering job done
    - Leaves vacuumed both front and back gardens
    - 3x WM (all dried in TD or on heated airer, too cold here for anything to dry outdoors)
    - Two hours work for DH business
    - Hoovered through downstairs
    - Both toilets cleaned
    - Food shopping delivered and put away

Just about to eat lunch then will crack on with financials and online Christmas shopping xx

LR done, including finally cleaning the patio doors. Windows opened to let the sunshine in, but closed now - the sun has moved and it isn't taking long to cool down.
Washing hanging outside, still in the sunshine.
Bathroom and downstairs loo have had a s&s, the kitchen will wait until after dinner. I did get distracted by DD who wangled some blueberry pancakes. As I cooked them instead of her, the kitchen was not such a disaster zone.
Next on the list - freezer inventory

I always copy'n'paste the summary on screen to an OpenOffice document and print it out; that way when Mr LW goes to collect, he can check that everything ordered is actually on the script - and it's proof, with dates, that the order was done.

Valli can I nit-pick about "chucking out" candle ends? I keep mine, and melt them down to make new candles. :money:

Fudge has gone home; and Mr LW and I have been to @ldi for some necessary supplies (mainly dairy stuff).
I have to do a celebration meal tomorrow; someone on the Daily thread suggested Summer In Winter Chicken adapted to use Qu0rn fillets, (she does this for her vegetarian DD) so we'll be giving that a go. Wish me luck!!
