Veg prepped, WUDUPA, had a lovely bath and a bit of a groom for me. Changed bedding which is now in machine, put away dry washing from yesterday, walked the dogs, put out rubbish, recycling and composting.
Just having lunch and then I will sort out some stuff for charity before walking the dogs again. They will need a bath when we get back.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Which reminds me, I must do a "rocket-pick" (like a poo-pick, but looking for firework remnants) of the back garden before Suzie arrives (Thursday afternoon).
Please can I ask for some super Flylady vibes for Mr LW? He's going to call the health centre place again tomorrow to see if he can at least find out an idea of how long he'll have to wait to see the Consultant.
I am out of my mind with worry. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Lots of posi vibes for Mr LW for tomorrow and coping vibes for you too, LW.
I think we must be very lucky here with fireworks. We have an organised, but very village, display which happened last night. Everyone seems to go there, and I haven't heard any others going off. I'm very thankful as Bonfire Night is one of my most hated nights of the year, ever since a couple of boys threw a firework at me when I was still in primary school. Little darlings. Luckily their aim was rubbish and back then I could actually run when I put my mind to it.
Nothing really achieved here today, as we sit and wait for news from the hospital re FiL. I did a load in the WM which actually got dried outside, so it is now ironed and in the airing cupboard. Apart from that I have faffed about all day. Dinner will be cooked in a minute, then that will be it for the evening.
Catch you all on the new thread. X0 -
I have been volunteering today and had to visit MK, someone I had to visit made the same comment as LW about the fireworks and the noise from that area last night, they said it went on for ages and was awful.

I have to keep on top of things because I dont get much time for housework. Every day I will swish the bathroom with a cleaning wipe, make sure that all washing up is done and kitchen worktops are clean and tidy, do a bit of laundry if needed, sweep the kitchen and utility floor and if I can find time run the cordless vac around. I Kon-Maried my house a couple of years ago and because we dont have toys or all the clutter that goes with babies and small people things are usually fairly tidy which helps massively.
Hi YorkshireLass - I think when I worked full time (14 years ago) i was much more organised, I used to come home from work on a Friday put DD to bed then blitz the house - going to bed about 3am, so that I could enjoy weekend with family.
I do have a daily routine (not all of it gets done depending on my health), I s&s downstairs toilet, kitchen and tidy everywhere, then kind of go whereever my energy takes me, so if back is bad and getting up and down stairs is bad, i will concentrate on living room, sometimes just setting a 10 min timer for a quick clean before i need to go rest
thank you so helpful - yes i know what you mean about kids - told mine that after preparing a mammoth roast (preparing veg kills my arms/shoulders) i would appreciate them washing up - well it never got done, DD watched xfactor with me and i reminded her it needed doing, she went and did the easy stuff and has left the rest so i have ignored it and when we get back from hospital today, the kids will be WUPUPA or they wont get fed today #badmum lol0
