    Good morning
I seem to be hanging around this morning achieving nothing. WM has run and uniform and jumpers are hanging indoors. I've just prepped some veg and bits to put a veggie lasagne in the slow cooker this afternoon so that I can feel like a domestic goddess when we get in cold and late. I've never made a lasagne in the slow cooker, so that should be interesting....I have also put a pizza in the freezer just in case!
Apart from that, very little achieved so far. I'm supposed to be elsewhere at midday, but DD has not even stirred herself yet

Sending gws vibes LW for your mouth ulcers. I know how horrible they are and you have my sympathy. I remember you having them before - is it to do with your medications or are you a bit low on B12 or iron ?
Unfortunately, ulcers, both in the mouth and the nose  are very common in Lupies. I take an iron supplement, and eat tonnes of Marmite which should cover the B vits, but even so....
Managed (with Mr LW's help) to wash my hair this morning, and swathes of it fell out; it's amazing I have any left at all.

Folks, if my posts are a tad thin on the ground for a bit, please don't worry; I'm struggling right now, and putting together a coherent and upbeat post is hard work. ;)

In a house with 9 laptops and 5 desktops we are struggling to put a working one together for DS2 to use.. it is crazy stuff.. I have ordered a replacement graphics card for his which is what I thought was wrong with it in the first place!! So, we shall see! I do have one lurking about somewhere I just cannot think where it could possibly be! I remember picking it up several weeks ago and asking if we needed to keep it.. but I have no idea where it was put or if we kept it!!

LW.. I just put together the lupus/wolf thing.. now I feel exceptionally stupid! We don't care if your posts are upbeat or you are offloading your moans.. we just like to hear from you xx

Lunch scoffed.. OH at work until 9 so I'm not sure whether to throw corned dog in the SC or just fling chicken and pasta at him.. he would probably prefer the chicken and pasta if I am honest.

The girls are very much looking forward to school on Monday!

I have cleaned 1 loo and made lots of mess looking for computer parts.. *cry*

If it's any consolation Piggers, you've reminded me to order a USB stick memory thingy.

Hello everyone. I've skim read so pleased for Lynne and Dizzy. Hugs for anyone who needs them esp LW. There was an interesting article in our local press this week about lupus.

Anyhow, flying during the week consisted of dailies (mine are getting dressed, walking the dogs and if there's time putting rubbish out, washing up etc), some dusting in the hall, cleaned the outside of the cooker including taking the knobs off, S&S's both bathrooms, dusted dusty bits in LR, did the ironing and hoovered downstairs a couple of times. Also did two washloads.

I'm really fortunate at the moment as DH has more or less taken over supplying meals.

Today I have cleaned the fridge, walked the dogs twice, taken and collected DHs car from the garage, hoovered through, sewn some detail on a bridesmaid dress and finally cleared a frog which was the WI paperwork. And got the washing all done.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Hi all x

    The story so far....
    LR
    Decluttered
    Dusted
    Hoovered
    Cushions and throws sorted
    Moved toys to the hall

    My room
    Bed made
    Windows opened
    Loads of washing put past
    Hoovered

    Kitchen
    Windows opened
    WM
    Bunkers decluttered
    Washing up done

    Hall
Decided toys were in my way so cleared a shelf in the hall cupboard for them to live
    Hoovered
Put DDs shoes in her room

Cue hailstones and me running round like benny hill closing windows

Decided to build the little table I bought at Ik3a myself as I'm sick of asking others to do it for me, was a piece of cake. Put the phone, broadband box and a picture on the table, stood back and admired!

Bossed DD into doing her room which is still ongoing. She's a procrastinator!

Been out to the van van for bread. Made French toast and scoffed it.
Just having a coffee now then I'll wash up again, reload the WM as it's just finished then try to get a wee half hour to myself before the boys get here.

Bathroom and rest of kitchen can wait till tomorrow!

    Twinkle finally napping..
I'm going to venture to make a cuppa and leave an older beast watching her sleep while I do a spot of flinging upstairs.
DD2 has been in touch.. student finance have still not sorted her any money, her employer is about to go bust and she has no money at all.. anyone want a lodger?

4 hours in the windows updates are still ongoing.. DS2 is getting most impatient!

Well she is awake.. by the time I went to loo, restarted laptop and set more updates going and made a cuppa...no wonder I get nothing done!

How do I get DS2 to Matalan while it is open when OH is working or at college constantly and DS2 can't go by himself because of his issues?? He can't go on the bus (due to his issues he literally has a meltdown.. traumatising for me at under 2, bearable at under 10, less so at nearly 22).. mine you the nearest bus stop is quite a way off, the nearest one is out of use due to a building demolition.. and it is too far to walk. This is when I need a friend I can call on.

eta.. I lied.. I put on both WM's and the dryer too and took the dirty stuff to the kitchen.
