Looks like issue 37 is out, for those that care.

I spent two weeks trying to open Issue 36 online but it kept saying technical difficulties.

The Chip app has moved to debit card transactions, manual saves by DD are already unavailable and autosaves by DD are being withdrawn soon. So it will no longer be a useful tool for generating DDs.

I must have already set up a regular DD on my BM account, and not realising I set up another. Now my Nationwide DDs show three BM mandates. One for one offs, and two for regular deposits. I don't know which is for which now!
That's when it is useful to have different amounts on different DDs. You'd obviously have to keep a note somewhere that tells you which amount is on which DD.

    That's what I'm doing now. Regular £1, one-off £2.

Loads of problems with existing multiple a/cs but 1 x 37 went through just/smooth

Just tried at work and it actually said 'setting up account' then disappeared followed by having technical difficulties.

I've already found that out. They have really destroyed their product - the new app is useless. I'm glad I didn't put any money towards that investment thing they offered a couple of months ago - I can see them going belly-up soon. They have loads of negative reviews on Google Play now.

The last couple of issues of the Post Office Online Saver I've had issues with opening, but this one seems okay to me too
