I've been applying through my account then it logs me out. Should I try via their website without logging in? Will both issues continue to show up on the same login?

I've always been logged out to make the PO savings application, so go through the main site.

Also it took a couple of attempts to get my issue 37, the first experiencing the oft mentioned 'technical difficulties'.

I only use PO savers for the DDs

Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

I tried via the website instead and it didn't work again.

Yeah same, I just need the DD to switch to M&S.

Have you tried Ecology? Their form on the deposit section was a bit confusing. And no DD form despite saying there is.

Yes, I have the Ecology RS which I fund with a £25 DD. The DD was set up as part of the application, so the form is there somewhere in the application process, but I can't remember.

My £1 DDs are 5 Post Office (1 weekly), 2 Birmingham Midshires, 2 Saga, Wealth Simple (weekly), Wealthify, eVestor, plus the National Lottery Thunderball for £4-5. I also sometimes use Charity donation DDs.

Another option is that you can chuck £500 into vanguard, then set up as many £1 DD's as you want afterwards. Although if more than 1 go out on the same day, theyre meged together as a single payment.

Is this using a platform rather than dealing with them direct?
Their website suggests the minimum deposit when dealing direct is £100.
    God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.

I set up an Everyday Current Account with Santander as a donor account. My PO 35 and my BM with two mandates are currently on my Nationwide account, as I switched it from a friend referral. So I have 3, but need 4 to switch Santander to M&S.

The Santander one hasn't got a chequebook, I didn't see the point as I'm not keep it long and won't use it. But the Ecology form said about oepning with a cheque as proof of idenitity or bank transfer so I guess you put the details down and they do the transfer for you. I couldn't see the DD form though.

I'll give Post Office a few more tries this week.

    Ecology Building Society application

Can I send a cheque from an account which will be different to the account used for the DD? The one I will be setting up the DD from doesn't have a chequebook.

    I didn't send a cheque, I sent a direct debit mandate document
