You are exaggerating. Some items need a bit more caution than others. And if you want it shipped to Greece you better be sure.
Did the buyer think a made to measure wedding dress would fit her without any alterations. That she would be a body double........
Accurately and truthfully................eeerrr like a video maybe?
If only all buyers were happy to receive goods that were not as described and be prepared to take the hit- you must be very popular with sellers if you accept everything they send regardless.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Once again. List accurately and honestly.0 -
Once again.........you use brain when buying made to measure, special day items.
once again in this case (thanks but i dont think I need your advise for purchases) the seller neglected to declare correctly on their listing.
you can pout and mump about the type of item, but this is basic stuff when someone chooses to list their item and specifically chooses to open in to a non domestic market.0 -

Let us know what bit was not as described. Did she get sent a spare set of wheels for a Ford Escort instead of a wedding dress?
I try things on when I buy them as I know my size differs from place to place in fact even in the same shop at times....
If you want to take a chance on something so personal as a wedding dress.........then don't get all upset after it arrives in Greece that it does not fit you personally like a glove.
It was taken in for a reason!!0 -

I agree with this. If you are selling something on Ebay then you need exact details. It is unlikely the buyer can handle the item before purchase so they need to know everything. As soon as you start making assumptions that what you know, the buyer should know, this is where it ends.
Thankfully we live in a world where a minority of people who owe money are the victims and shouldn't be expected to pay it back or even be asked to pay it back. PayPal/Ebay can just make the money they lose from increasing the amount they charge us hard workers who do stupidly actually pay their debts.0 -

You will get advise if you want to correct me on a forum, thanks.
No she got what she paid for. You have a view which is different fine, I don't share it. Ebay decided to refund so they will take the hit and you can jump up and down all you like. Nothing has changed.0 -

If you need exact details then make sure you ask the right questions. I did not assume my new car came with climate control or Satnav and 3 years free servicing. I asked.0
