Well done on your payments! Soon you’ll be under 30k! Hooray! I really enjoy watching other people pay down their debts- it keeps me motivated to get on with mine! I hope your blood tests come back ok- I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I’m in the same club as everyone else who has posted about Christmas weight! My scales have run out of battery so I don’t know the full extent of my damage but my jeans are considerably tighter than they were in November!! I need to get out on my bike... I’m using the ice as an excuse! I wish I was as into the gym as you two!

Hmm I think something is seriously wrong with me, just been driving and all of a sudden my heart started beating out of my chest like I’ve never had before in my life. My whole back from the bottom to my neck had like shooting pains up and down, like pains all over and my fingers got pins and needles. I had to pull over and just sit there for five minutes whilst I went back to normal. I had 999 typed in my phone ready to call if I got any worse. I’m not an expert but I feel like I almost had a heart attack. I’m sat in Tesco extra car park currently, hmm. Think I will head the hospital, not feeling the waits.

Agreed that you need to go to the hospital and get checked out. Go straight to A and E and they will sort you out! I hope everything’s ok!

They were next to useless, all they said was my heart rate was raised, & that it was likely anxiety that caused it... I wasn't anxious, in fact I'm almost never anxious, I don't worry about things like at all - I'm super chilled. Told the guy this, then to p*ss me off further he prescribed anxiety meds. Needless to say, prescription in the bin.

He also told me to keep clear of red bull, I had one in the morning.

I sometimes think with doctors, if you're fat all they say is everything is down to you being fat and you need to lose weight. If you're in shape everything is anxiety and stress.

I'm stressed now, after all that useless bs lol.

Yep, I've got my Fitbit back on and my heart rate is seriously high just sitting here, it's like 95. It's weird as when I last wore this I was getting like 65.

I'm a bit hesitant to go any further as my US healthcare does not cover anything currently under investigation in the UK, else I would ask work for a BUPA open referral letter & see a specialist on the cover. What I can say is BUPA are great, I'm lucky that I only pay like £60 a month and work cover the rest (not sure of the exact cost as it's deducted before I'm paid), I've considered dropping it but my NHS experience has always been so dire I cannot bring myself to do it. When I was in hospital a month or two ago, I tried to have a shower and was told the NHS is now "bring your own towel." They didn't have toothpaste or toothbrushes (had to buy it myself), the water tap wasn't working in my ward (I was told to buy bottled water) and the pharmacy had no deodorant left. Oh & the car park was £2.40 an hour. This is the lovely Charing Cross Hospital in London.

Everything publicly owned in this country sucks, the NHS sucks, the nurses / doctors are burnt out & not paid fairly anymore, people working in public sector all have pay freezes despite doing good jobs. I have friends who teach who have to buy the pens, pencils, whiteboards, stationary, and work books out of their own pay for the kids! If you go in the Post Office be prepared to wait 7 days to send an item, and if you go during the 5PM postage rush, be prepared to die in line, when you finally reach the server, you'll be greeted by some fat middle aged woman, with a face like a slapped a*ss, who is miserable as death. She will take 3 minutes to type a post code into the computer, and takes 90 seconds to stick a label onto a parcel.
Once all post is labelled, the receipt will be provided a further 45 seconds later.

If you want to take a driving test, go to the government owned DVLA and wait 55 years for a driving test. You will be too old to drive by the time the test is available.

...Wouldn't it be great if more things were publicly owned.

So my post got removed, too detailed. Long story short I've been dating another girl, started blanking her & cut her off (wasn't interested), now she's posted a letter through my door. I find dating is so much drama, like people can't understand things are not meant to be. I must have so many angry letters over the years.

Lost the weight I put on over xmas, so feel much better about that. My body is starting to feel normal again. Spent a bunch today, got groceries + fuel, hate it when I spend like £50+ in a day! Debating whether to cancel heading out tonight, really wanna save the money, and could just go the 24/7 gym, so make some gains both financially and for my body.

    Happy New Year all :D

I did go out and I’ve spent on contactless mainly - nobody gave me a receipt. I hope the damage isn’t too crazy.

That girl I’ve been seeing (& I use that worse loosely) wouldn’t stop messaging and calling all night, we passed on the way home and her friend was even saying she’s obsessed. It’s just amusing really. Anyway new year, new games, let’s see how much damage can be done:rotfl:. :rotfl:

On a fresh note, hope you all had an amazing day! I am so thankful for all of your help and advise.

More drama then lol. You do seem to attract drama!

Let's hope this year is a bit calmer or maybe not as then it would be boring. :rotfl:
