The OP has said several posts ago he is going to put a stud wall up in the big bedroom and create a windowless lobby to be used as a gym.
The big bedroom will end up the same size as the other bedrooms & everyone has a gym the can use & every child has a private bedroom - perfect. Why are you all still arguing!!

    Arguing? It's a discussion..
The opposite of what you know...is also true

I think splitting the larger room may be the best solution. I can have a gym without a window or spend a bit more and have two bedrooms and put two new windows in if that is possible. The boys are all into fitness and sport so a gym room would be acceptable to everyone and all the rooms would be about the same size.

The finance element is completely separate. Both children may spend 3/4 school days at their mums and the remainder at the dads which will included the period of time where they have free time.

Regardless, there is pretty much an even split on days the kids spend at each, who gets the child benefit is irrelevant here.

They may split their time equally but one home is still considered the primary residence and the finances emphasise this - that's why it's relevant.
  • Can you not put the 10 year old and 2 12 year olds in one room, make them a gaming toy room in another, gym room in smallest ,your room, then your 16 year olds room,
  • Look mate, put the child you like the least in the smallest room.

    Problem solved ;)
