O2 to ditch Tugo

They did not offer me a signal booster only a free PAC code to leave 02 early.
I don't spend much with them so I wonder if that's why they did not offer me a signal booster.0 -
Quick follow upon my situation, I was allowed to upgrade to a iPhone SE 6 months early so i could have wifi calling, paying the remainder £50 to finish paying for my phone.
THE O2 WIFI CALLING DOES NOT DO TEXTS!!!
Its useless for me so had to go back to see them, i was then advised to pay of this phone (£288) and leave O2.
I did this, moved to 3 on a £9 sim only deal, their wifi calling does texts too and their priority moneys equivalent gave me a free costa coffee and bella italia meal today.
O2 gave me £44 compensation - still to arrive but it was only last week.
All in all it was a nightmare and expensive too but I'm happy with the outcome.Owner of a cute cottage in the North York Moors :j0 -

I'm about 3 months into a 24 month contract, so possibly.
However, I can't fault the O2 service so far. I work in France a lot and get 4G with O2 over there, compared to E or 3G with 3. ( Was stuck with 3 for so many years as they were the only company allowing you to use your allowance in France.)
So in this instance, a signal booster for at home is idea.0 -
Also upset that tugo has gone. Particularly as I'm going on holiday soon and was hoping to use it.
But the wifi calling that I now have on my iPhone 6 is brilliant. At last I can make phone calls within the house without having to stand on the driveway.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
