  • You'll be near me if you move down to Surrey!

I totally know what you mean about Primark.

I'm having slightly similar problems with my OH - he does have a job but it's far enough away that we can't live together or spend that much time together! I know the struggle. You are much, much nicer to your OH than I am though, mine gets told off on the regular :rotfl:

Hope you had a nice weekend :D

  • Sorry work are behaving like total prats. Sometimes it can act as a wake-up call to spur you on to a better job.

I know what you mean about returning goods I too have parcelled goods to send back for a refund. At least we have the sense not to keep stuff e are not happy with now. I don't know about you but I used to just think ah well, and keep it to clutter up the place!

Your treat night sounded lovely :)

Hello everyone :o Many apologies for the vanishing act (again). Been feeling like a bit of a fraud on the money-saving front so have just kind of steered clear. Debt hasn't increased but it isn't really going down and I do feel quite crummy about that. MH wise things are shaky, but not terrible. I'm able to get up and get through the days but time is passing in a really strange way. I feel like everyday is dragging unbearably, but then it only feels like I've blinked since the beginning of September. Very strange and disconcerting!

Time off was very lovely - went camping with OH near the ocean and it was beautiful. Quite stormy one day but the tent held up well. OH had got some battery powered fairy lights and strung them up which was very cute and on my birthday he nipped out to the car and brought in presents and a cake! I felt very spoiled :o He got me a sunshine alarm clock and it's a game changer! Makes getting up for work so, so much easier.

One negative development is that I've been drinking again :( I slipped back into it so easily, I could kick myself. I'm determined to be sober again so that starts as of today.

I'm going to start listing what I have to do during the day on here to keep me on track and I'm going to check in everyday. I do really feel so much better and in control when posting here, but it's easy to fall out of it.

Nothing really needs doing today. Have done some general tidying and faffing about. I do need to have a look at my accounts and see where I stand money-wise. Running pretty low but should be getting paid at some point this week.

Have got some overtime tomorrow and will be going to the gym after work (here we go again :rotfl:). Going to be a long day so need an early night tonight.... Another thing that's gone all skewy is my bedtime and I think that's having an impact on my MH. Need to get back into my routine, I always feel better with a routine!

    Tomorrow:
    1. Gym
    2. Nose around diaries
    3. Buy monthly rain ticket
    4. Re-download MFP and start tracking food again
(Got a new phone through my insurance, but haven't been bothered to re-download things because I am so, so lazy!)
    5.Phone for GP appointment
    6. Bed before 11
    Total Debt : ?? / ??

Thank you Lucifa73 and SSDD23, lovely to be back :o Thanks for popping in! Semi productive day... Currently sitting in bed completely shattered but feeling quite happy.

    [STRIKE]1. Gym
[/STRIKE]I did it! Went after work and it was good. Just a bit of walking and some weights. Nothing too crazy, but felt good to go. Am going to go tomorrow morning rather than after work as getting the train after 5 o clock home from town is dire.
    2. Nose around diaries
Not yet! Got home too late and wanted to batch cook. I think I'll do this Wednesday as I'm off work and can commit.
    [STRIKE]3. Buy monthly rail ticket
    [/STRIKE]Goodbye £95 :(
[STRIKE]4. Re-download MFP and start tracking food again
[/STRIKE]Done! Tracked my food today and exercise today and feeling like I may be back on track.
    5. Phone for GP appointment
Not done - Didn't get home in time. Will try again tomorrow.
    [STRIKE]6. Bed before 11[/STRIKE]
Am already in bed! Had a shower, dried my hair and am now watching rubbish and doing some skincare stuff. Think I will be zzzzing very soon.

Am feeling quietly optimistic... I don't want to jinx anything but feel I may be on the up. Didn't even want to booze today so happy days!
