Windows 10 Fall Creators Update review: This could be Microsoft's biggest Windows yet

    https://www.pcworld.com/article/3231218/windows/windows-10-fall-creators-update-review.html

Iv’e since decided not to purchase an addtional usb drive for this win10 update.
The features available are not of any use to me.
Think I’ll continue to use win 10 oem via recently repaired Asus 32gb laptop.

I used to hate W10 but Now I got used to it I find it's good.

It's also worth noting there's far less troubleshooting problems with it than previous os's. The forum used to be inundated with problems before.

People have seem to have quickly forgotten how even with a decent setup, XP would give you a 'Blue screen' once a week. :D
    Move along, nothing to see.

One thing about the current Windows 10 model which is definitely bad is that Microsoft put old versions out of support so quickly.

Windows 10 was released in July 2015, but the first two versions are already out of support, and all versions except the very latest one are 'tentatively' out of support in less than a year's time.

Whereas Windows 8.1 for instance is supported until 2023.

But the upshot is you have to upgrade at some point, to keep receiving security patches.

Unusually for Microsoft, the new Win10 version seems to take quite a bit less space on the system drive (once you've managed to install it and removed the windows.old folder it creates), so that is a small benefit....

I have tried the method of attaching a USB drive with some free space before, but my experience was that it didn't acknowledge the attached drive, so it didn't help. As mentioned those 32GB devices are a pain to upgrade.

Which is why one of my earlier Windows updates failed -Anniversary I think.
Was going to drive to Currys for a new usb drive today though after reading Fall update features I decided not to bother.
If there comes a time when I must update win10 then I’ll re consider.

EDIT: If you download Windows 10 through Windows Update, the size is about 2.5 to 2.7 GBs.
