And what they may not mention is that this update will install and restart your PC without even asking permission.
It was a case of did a grey box just appear in the corner? Then a pale blue screen pops up with restarting.... Did it save the open windows and expecially the text on those windows? NO.
A Chrome browser window re-opened but not my document and not Opera or Firefox.
So glad i blocked the updates on my main PC. Sneaky though it gets reinstated after some updates.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I had ample notice that the install was complete and a restart was scheduled outside of active hours0

Having read several of the reviews and read what has been added with the latest version my only response is - so what? I have not seen anything there that I actually need or use.
Only updated to Creators last week, hope it is quite a while before this Fall one arrives...0 -
When doing updates such as this now I use the upgrade assistant tool, at least with it you get an idea percentage wise, what is going on.
Newest computer took just under 2 hours whereas old desktop seven years old took 2 and a quarter hours.0 -
No it won't if you have set your active hours properly. How do I know this?
