    Whoooooooosh!

    ;)
  • when doing updates such as this now i use the upgrade assistant tool, at least with it you get an idea percentage wise, what is going on.

Newest computer took just under 2 hours whereas old desktop seven years old took 2 and a quarter hours.

    2 hours!!! !!!!!!!!
The instructions on the box said 'Requires Windows 7 or better'. So I installed LINUX :D:D
  • Update came and went without the hassle of fifty others on buck of farce saying it would bring the four horsemen of the apocalypse as well as the Linux brigade to wreak havoc.

'Fall Update' is well named because I have tried installing it 6 times now and every time it has fallen over and failed. I'm giving it one last go and if it still doesn't install I'm giving up. MS can stick it and burn it with the autumn leaves!

Having read several of the reviews and read what has been added with the latest version my only response is - so what? I have not seen anything there that I actually need or use.

Being able to get files from your OneDrive storage without having to sync the whole lot to a local copy on your hard drive thus negating the entire point of cloud storage is a massive thing for me.
