I tried to get through the whole day but ended up crashing 8-11am. Today was mostly successful though, I love the designer I picked for the logo, now I have to let him work his magic - I'm so excited! Also picked up a lovely tablecloth that I can use for wedding fairs, I've been looking for one for absolutely ages and Primark had a gorgeous one for €12 :j I might also have bought some pretty underwear and a silly little present for my grandma. The stew is cooling on the stove and my last load of laundry is on its last spin.

    Motivation is back!

    Morning world!

My logo arrived yesterday! After a couple of revisions I'm so happy with it! And every little thing that happens now is a step closer to coming home and my excitement (and stress levels ha) are creeping up.

Laptop is out of action until my new charger arrives - luckily because I'm heading to the UK IN TWO DAYS (so excited!) I could order one and have it sent to my 'friend's' office (oh yes, I have a 'friend' now hehe!) and everything tends to be quite a bit cheaper back home. The charger is a great example - the cheapest I could find over here is €37.99 (bout £34) without delivery; cheapest in the UK is £14.48 including delivery

I've decided to leave the wing mirror until the car is in the UK - again, it's half the price to order back home so plan is to order it next month. It needs to be fixed before the MOT but I have 30 days to get the MOT certificate from 5th January so that should be fine, especially as my brother's best mate and flatmate is a mechanic :D What is not fine is I forgot my tax is due at the end of the month and I haven't budgeted for it, that'll be €115 coming out of my 'misc/fun' budget...

I had my December work all sorted... and then two clients changed times for gigs :rotfl: One person I need to speak to isn't in today so I won't get this sorted today. Also, people keep asking me if I'm having leaving drinks so I might have to organise a little get together. None of my friends are in the same circles at all so it'd be a really interesting night!

    Aims for today:

    - PAD
    - NSD
    - chase up wedding fair refund (it's been three months since she confirmed she'd pay me back... I think she might be hoping I'll just go away?)
    - Record harmony guide tracks for society carolling
    - Sort set lists for tomorrow
    - Clean bathroom
    - gig

It's not quite so crazy today :j:j:j

If I had been waiting 3 months for a refund I would be chasing them every day until they got sick of me and got it processed! 3 months is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for your money back.

Glad you like the logo! Its important to love something like that because its what everyone will see first.

You're right DFD - I'm always too nice when it comes to money, which is probably why I've had so many financial troubles in the past!

I did't get much done today, with the laptop out of action I had to load all my work stuff onto my tablet which took a few hours this morning, and by the time I came back from work I was shattered. I'm listening to my body, getting a really early night and getting back on it first thing in the morning :o
