Checked for email to confirm what time I had booked a grocery delivery for. No email found. Checked for order and discovered everything was still in the checkout basket. So we have had to visit Mr T for a big shop horror.

    Airing cupboard emptied
    Bath mats washed
    Ironing done

Can't move now as I'm getting the cat to sleep on my knee.
  • Hi flyfriends x

I'll be back in from Monday now I have a broadband connection! Things have been pretty rough the last couple of months. OH and I split up, DD and I ended up in a homeless unit after sleeping on a friends floor for a few days. We now have a really nice flat and I'm starting to get back on my feet. Got took on full time at work so that's came at a good time.
Hope you are all doing well, I've missed being here.

Middle room cleared and thoroughly vacuumed.. 2 huge binbags filled and binned, toys ousted and the baby bits stored neatly so they arent all out for a change! I can see the coffee table for the first time in 4 months!

DS2's pc looked it.. it isnt his graphics card that is shafted (praise be!) it is the hard drive.. much cheaper to replace so that is ordered.. £55 as oppose to £185

Dinner pots need to go in the DW and the swimming stuff in the WM.

  • Thanks everyone xxx

DD has been coping really well in fact she is more relaxed now, which has made me realise that I have done the right thing. It's been a horrid time but I'm on the up again now. DS1 and 2 are taking things in their usual laid back way and SS is fine about it all too.
Piggers I was thinking of you the other day too when I got a text from one of my pals who was at the fair!

Today has been brought to me by...
Building 2 x chest of drawers
Filling them in a neat and orderly fashion
    Putting up the scullery blind
Washing and managing to break the door on the WM that I just got second hand
Working out I can still use the WM if I use a bit of gaffa tape although I'm not brave enough to leave the scullery when it's on!
School and work stuff ironed and hung up.
    Packed lunch stuff organised.

Just going to chill for half an hour before going to bed.
