£41.98 in total to UK. Usually dispatched within 1-2 weeks.

The dispatch time makes me think they don't have any and if their suppliers have limited stock like most places then it might be a long wait.

Worth a go though just to find out more info.

They have a desktop stock alert which let me pick up a wii console last week from Game. Ordered lunchtime, dispatched by 5pm and arrived next morning before 9am. Took about 2 weeks of monitoring on and off to be able to get to the sites quickly enough to order and checkout before they were out of stock.

Question for the uninitiated, do I need to get an SD card for the wii console, have no idea about these things as I usually give up on games after 5 minutes :)

Big Brain adademy for £15.99 incl p+p.
I bought it for my son a few months ago for his birthday... sure it was £14.99 then, but could have been mistaken. He's 11 and he loves it so far, he already has it on his DS.
Am looking for more bargain games for Christmas though.
  • I purchased a Wii console from the German Amazon website when there were none available in the UK (someone suggested this on a previous thread in Feb). Just scroll to the bottom of Amazon home page and you will find the different country links. Obviously the page is in German so I used an on-line translator and cut-copied dialogue into this for translation during my transaction. Another alternative as well is to open the UK page alongside and make a similar purchase so you know what you are clicking on.

Amazon De said it would be 4-6 weeks delivery it was on my doorstep in 10 days. :T No real difference in price, maybe a few ££ cheaper - but you will need this to buy an adaptor to make this 2-pin plug fit our 3-pin which I bought of ebay for £1.99.

Purchased via Quidco for extra ££ back and used credit card for my own security - no probs and I would recommend to you all if you are desperate for a Xmas Wii!!

I would wait until your wii arrives and see how you get on from there. I have had my wii since July and I have 4 children. We only have the original wiimote and numchuk that came with the wii and we manage no problems.

You are missing out on Wii sport tennis - this is great in four player mode which needs four wii remotes. I have 5 and 7 year old girls and we love this.

I got the extra remotes from Tesco direct through Quidco but notice they are out of stock right now. Anyone with a young family looking for multiplayer fun try Raving Rabbids?

But where can you buy a wii in the first place? I'd love to find somewhere selling it for a non rip off price, but as soon as anywhere gets any in, they are gone! :((

Have you tried using http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/wii_console_realtime.asp ? Will pop up if an online retailer gets some stock - helped people in my office get one from Amazon recently. I was lucky to get ours through Game (via Quidco)
  • Also look here for online stock updates

    order.co.uk/

I used the above web sites realtime stock monitor and the previous posters link ordered a wii from Dixons as they came in stock only to receive an email a day later saying they were now out of stock, so I've since ordered a wii from Amazon.de, instructions on how to do it are here http://www.augd89.dsl.pipex.com/default.htm

    Good luck
