Amazon.co.uk are showing some discounts on Wii Games and accessories, so it might be worth comparing their prices with others elsewhere.

Got mine from Amazon.de (Germany). Took 5 days to be delivered. No problems at all.

Amazon.de (Germany) almost always seem to have them in stock for just under 250euro (about £170). Shipping to the UK is 6 euro

    http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000UVI1G4/ref=s9_asin_title/028-6794505-9190149?pf_rd_m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&pf_rd_s=right-1&pf_rd_r=056CR0XTQXPWZD8CCTXC&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=140076591&pf_rd_i=301128

If your German isn't so good - the website template is identical to the Amazon UK site, so use that for a reference.

    Hope that helps :D

google translate can translate most of it for you: http://www.google.co.uk/language_tools?hl=en

If you find that Tesco have stock then buy it.

I would have but i've always been to late once stock comes in.

  • You can get an idea of prices and deals on Wii consoles and bundles (and those with some in stock) from http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/

I found the bundles were with games I didn't want, and not really any cheaper than buying it separately from decent places online. I got mine from Amazon, and some accessories from elsewhere.

  • You can also use the memory card for saving downloaded games from the Wii's virtual console.

As for finding cheap games and their availability, I usually start by checking out www.find-games.co.uk
It's not totally infallable, but it gives a good idea of the prices you can pay, and shows the cost with and without postage, so there are no surprises.

    Hi

I have just got myself a free Wii, my mobile phone contract with virgin was up and the deals that they were offering were pitiful, so i shopped around, i have got an 18month contract (which is fast becoming the norm) £35 a month new samsung G600 plus a free wii. there are different deals around at the moment where you can get the sports games included it just depends on whether you want a specific phone.

check out onestopphoneshop.co.uk you can also choose from xboxes and ds lites - they have other offers too.

i should be getting it in the next 5 weeks in time for christmas.

ITs not free your paying about £10 over the oddss for the contract so your really just buying them on a 18 month HP.

If you were going for a phone anyway i supose the extra tenner wont matter.

My children (9 & 6) and I pooled our resources last January. We walked round to every shop (in Cardiff) until we found a Wii {last one in GAME apparently} and then bought an extra controller. So just put some footwork in and don't pay over the odds for one.

GAMES: We had PLAY with the Wii and Rabid Rabbits which are both worth having, we still play them both regularly. My Wife and Kids bought "me" Super Monkey Ball for my birthday and that is OK with some fun multi player mini games.

Otherwise we rent games with lovefilm which means you get to see what is worth having before forking out the money, so far the only other games I would consider buying are Zelda (1 player) and EXCITE TRUCK, multi player and no nunchucks needed. really Great FUN driving game.

Prince of Persia was to hard for the children so we didn't like that and Fantastic four was very repetative.

This year we plan to buy another controller and nunchcuk so we all get to play at the same time.
Everyone goes on about the graphics and games on the 360 but you cant beat the Wii for actual fun and playing WITH your children instead of just watching them.
