Aldi Sunday Special Buys 11th November: 1GB SD Card (Tevion) for £5.990

To convert my amazon.de wii plug to suit our english 3 pin sockets, I picked up a masterplug shaving adaptor plug for a reduced price of £1.00 in B&Q (Glasshoughton).0

But where can you buy a wii in the first place? I'd love to find somewhere selling it for a non rip off price, but as soon as anywhere gets any in, they are gone!

I ordered Wii from Amazon De (Germany) on 5 November and much to my amazement it arrived on 8th. Excellent service and good price - £179.00 - paid with my Nationwide credit card to avoid extra charges for buying in euros.
So far so good - Unfortunately, set it up same day and used it for an hour. Next day came to switch it on and 'Nothing' - No power to console. Rang Nintendo UK who were very polite etc but bottom line is they are sending me label to return Wii for them to look at and repair/replace. I asked them to post new one out straight away and I would return broken one but no deal.
Had I been able to buy say from Argos I would have just taken it back ..... but now have no idea how long I will have to wait.
I have just been unlucky with this console and wouldn't let this put anybody off buying but think Nintendo as a company could haveand should have done better.0 -

I agree - poor show - I would not accept a repair on an electronic item used for less than 6 months let alone less than a day.Baby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0 -
Wii Play's in stock at dixons at the moment0

Ordered Wii Play from Dixons - wonder whether they will now cancel the orders within the next couple of days like they did last weekend when I ordered a Wii Console from them0
