I just read it - government ran three scenarios - in all but the best case Uk started running out of food and medicine within days

We know all about the government's scenarios. Instant recession, emergency budget, blah, blah, blah.

    Garbage in, garbage out.

But David Davis's Brexit Department played down the fears insisting a 'significant amount of work' had gone into planning for 'no deal' and 'none of this would come to pass'.

Phew, DD is on the case, massive relief. I bet it's the same "significant amount of work" that when into the Brexit studies. Nothing.

Amazing! What Hitler failed to do during wartime, the EU manages to do during peacetime.

Difficult to believe how people can be duped by this nonesense.

JRM sums it up nicely - "Project fear on speed"

There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

Longer story. However my dealer was unable to fit mud flaps on my new car as none in the country. Had to come from Belgium in the end. Took 6 days in the end. Globalisation and seamless borders only serves one interest. Big business.

    That is quite amazing.
The U.K. decides to leave the EU and now you blame the EU.
Now that is true false Brexit thinking.

Next you will be suggesting that the referendum was all a cunning plot by the EU to get rid of Britain.

    Now theres a thought!
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

How about getting back to Hamishs point? That there is a high probability that the UK will run out of fuel, medicine etc within 3 days as a result of a no-deal Brexit? Implicitly due to EU imposed conditions that are out of our control.

As you well know, my response is, in so many words, thats tosh.
Well, I did at least try a brief riposte to Hamish first...

I recently had an OEM windscreen wiper delivered direct from the far east at a quarter of the UK dealer price.

Hence Germany's reluctance to be too harsh towards Russia.
