Their ideological hard brexit is evaporating fast and they know it.
Their main problem is that their Brexit leaders, Gove, Johnson and Fox don't particularly care about Brexit.
Even amongst the Tory party None of them are exactly famous for having strongly held principles. Johnson in particular expected heading a failed but disruptive populist Leave campaign to be the beginning of his leadership challenge to be PM.
He looked like a hostage who'd just been wheeled out in front of a camera after 10 years in solitary by the PLO when Leave won.
Boris Johnson doesn't care about Brexit, he cares about Boris Johnson. The only thing "winning" has delivered for him so far is to make him look like a globally disliked xenophobic buffoon.
Leave is crumbling like a soggy biscuit into the Brexit Asda's own brand tea.0 -

Millions of hard working loyal eastern europeans also not knowing what the future holds for them, it's disgusting.
Nothing loyal whatsoever. They are economic migrants, just like the Poles and Romanians who head to Germany, or the Brits who work in France.
FOM will still apply to them, and they can still work in any of the EU states. That's what an European marketplace means. You can access a wider market when conditions in your current location change.0 -

They are British residents who came here completely legally in good faith. Quite opposed to the Brexit propaganda, most immigrants aren't living 20 to a bedsit sleeping on stacks of money which they send home while simultaneously claiming £80k a year in child support.
These are actual human beings. People who have put down roots, have lives and friends and kids in school here who are contributing 1000% more than the average Leave whinger sitting on a sofa covered in empty Pringles tubes who won't get on a bus for 30 minutes to look for work.0 -

Even the ones with careers here, mortgages, have British partners, British kids, speak better English than we do?
Surely you must be able to acknowledge that after some time, these migrants are part of our community.0 -

I have a French friend. She's lived here for 15 years, had two children here, has a partner, has never been out of work for a day. She speaks better English than most of the wall of gammon that would like her deported.
She is REALLY upset by Brexit, she always felt at home in England but feels vulnerable here now. Because citizenship goes through the mother she had to apply for naturalisation for both of her kids who were born here, and now has to pay a small fortune and pass an exam for herself, otherwise she's worried she'll be deported when the Brexit Reich take over next year.
She has had NOTHING remotely supportive or reassuring about her future from this utter shower of a government. Not one word as to why she'd keep investing her time and skills into the UK. Her employer have promised they'll sponsor a visa for her if it comes to that but they are as in the dark as everyone else.
Brexiteers can stick their Brexit where the sun doesn't shine.0 -

There are third generation 'migrants' who are not part of the 'community' its not about time its about culture. However I will grant that most EU citizens do or will integrate fully while the Muslim migrants mostly wont.0 -

It doesn't really matter what Muslims do to "integrate" they are always going to be considered outsiders by racists.0 -

There are plenty of 30th generation migrants that don't integrate either, and plenty of 1st, 2nd or 3rd generations that do.0 -

What does Hamish frequently say to Brits in the North/regions who struggle to get work?
He tells them to move to the South. He cares not about their living arrangements.
So how is this any different?
People move all the time, and they still will post Brexit.0
