Not according to this:As the Oxford English Dictionary says in its listing for the word, it is a "chiefly British" word. But this isn't exactly a smoking gun. As James Ball of Buzzfeed UK was quick to point out on Twitter, Obama has actually used the word "queue" a number of times before.
You can see it in this White House transcript from 2010, for example, when Obama says: "There were several people who were still in the queue who didn’t have a chance to speak prior to us breaking." Or in another transcript from 2011, when he says: "Could I just say that Chuck is the only guy who asked two questions — so far. So just — when I cut off here, whoever was next in the queue — I’m messing with you, Chuck." Or in yet another transcript from two years after that, when he says: "We’ve got to make sure that we have a legal immigration system that doesn’t cause people to sit in the queue for 5 years, 10 years, 15 years — in some cases, 20 years."
The instances of Obama using "queue" do seem relatively rare, but they exist and they appear to be off-the-cuff comments. And importantly, in none of the above examples was the president being used to trick British people to not act in their own interest. In fact, Obama has something of a habit of using British English. According to Not One-Off Britishisms, a blog run by University of Delaware English professor Ben Yagoda with the aim of catching the British English that enters into American daily life, the president has also been caught saying things like "full stop," "run to ground" and "take a decision."0 -
Whether or not Obama used the word 'queue' is immaterial. Foreigners intervening in an internal UK matter really get up peoples noses. I'm amazed that the powers that be never worked that out. It's the Law of Unintended Consequences.0 -

Can foreign powers comment when mentioned by a campaign? Because that's a large part of what happened.0 -

As reuters have stated, no staff will be moved to Dublin. They will engage some local staff.

Scots set to smash Brexit? Hardly. The bill will still be passed.
Hopefully the rebellious scots will then have a hissy fit, vote for independence and save us £15Bn every year.If I don't reply to your post,

Using capital they wouldn't otherwise need to. Will they continue the brass plating indefinitely? Will the EU allow brass plating?0 -

I see you are now putting out misinformation after accusing others, the shame...
All of those statements are taken out of context and none were said during the referendum campaign..."I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0 -
Interesting article in the Telegraph which casts some doubt on the idea that the USA are planning to give us a decent deal as soon as we’re able to sign. It also paints a less than cheery picture of the NHS being better off post Brexit but I doubt that too many people took this seriously anyway.
