Brexit, the economy and house prices part 5

Its amazing to me how the narrative has changed from pre referendum when we were repeatedly told we had the EU over a barrel and they would give us everything we could possibly want, to now where some are proclaiming No Deal as some kind of epic victory (that may play well with the die-hards, but it won't with a lot of people who just care about supporting their families as best they can.
Who told you it would be simple? This is the EU we are dealing with, it is in their own interest to make the separation as PAINFUL as possible so as to scare off other countries from trying to pull out of the EU!
If you didn't understand this from the beginning then Ive got some blue cheese from the moon you might be interested in :rotfl:
The Government needs to grow a backbone and stop being !!!!!!s. No deal MIGHT in fact end up being the best option for the country if the EU's demands are so outrageous (demanding an exit fee for example). Again, if you are demanding that some deal MUST be struck to allow the UK to exit the EU then what is the incentive for the EU to come to any kind of arrangement with the UK?
The answer is, none! Why would they when all they have to do is sit on their !!!!!! and the UK will never leave the EU.I have said it repeatedly, the Brexit campaign won, its supporters in key roles in government need to get on with delivering on the claims made during the campaign and stop blaming everyone else for their failure to do so.
Perhaps you should take your own advice and stop blaming everyone else because you didn't get your way :rotfl:

There is not an exit fee. There is a financial settlement of existing commitments. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
I have just been advised that it is now 500 days since the referendum. I don't know what to say. Does it seem as only yesterday or is it a very long time and we don't appear to have made much progress.
Interesting. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
