Just what it says on the tin. More political posturing. Expect that there'll be more aand more in the weeks to come.

See the Dutch have triggered contingency plans for a hard Brexit and are recruiting more customs officials. This despite the fact that they are pro UK in their outlook. Carry little weight in the inner circles of power though.

Thanks. Have found same story but in The i:

    https://inews.co.uk/news/uk-driving-licences-may-rejected-eu-brexit/

Sounds unnecessarily punitive. I spend about a month a year driving in the USA and they have no problem accepting my licence to hire a car there.

Just think of the impact of foreign HGV drivers being unable to drive on UK roads, if the UK was forced to retaliate. Who ever thinks up this spin is very short sighted......

The thing you forget is retaliation will hurt us more than them, simply because there are more of them.

I doubt any of this will ever realistically come to pass unless the Hard Brexit evangelicals takeover the process and can somehow get their vision of Brexit through Parliament, all bets are probably off then.

At the moment I would just like the UK government to come out with a realistic plan for Brexit that is likely to at least get close to fitting into something the EU might find acceptable and then we negotiate from there.

It kind of feels like that should have happened a while ago....

Hopefully we will find out soon. It is ridiculous that the government is being held hostage by the hard Brexit 60 and the DUP.

Equally the EU should stop using such punitive tactics. It's like watching a bunch of five year olds... on both sides.

I'm not sure. I think we need some of these consequences spelled out for us to pressure May into actually making a decision and trying to make progress.

Whilst none of this will happen with a deal, who knows what'll happen with no deal

Then you live a sheltered existance. Travel a little may help expand your mind.

    How far should I travel?
The outcome is perfectly clear. Will be what the British people wish it to be. Unless one actively participates then nothing will change. Simply slagging off people and organisations you don't like achieves nothing.

That's the question though; what do the British public wish it to be?

Has anyone in parliament asked? I don't mean the referendum; it provides more questions than answers.
