    You said it.
Given that only between 5% and 8% of UK businesses actually export to the EU according to Fullfact it's not an unreasonable assumption, since from those figure between 92% and 95% won't really care.
    :D

Did you read the article, tracey?
He found that “the overwhelming majority” with an opinion on the customs union wanted to stay a member
So we're not talking about those who don't care, are we?

But thanks for pointing out that only 5-8% of UK business actually export to the EU - although the relevance to the point here is non-existent.
  • Just like some remainers here attempt to manufacture their own facts, so is Italy's Berlusconi!
"Italy's Berlusconi takes credit for ending the Cold War"
That would surprise most historians, who say the Cold War ended between the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the break-up of the Soviet Union in 1991. But Berlusconi said it ended in May 2002 at a NATO summit he hosted near Rome attended by U.S. President George W. Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

A conservative alliance of Berlusconi’s Forza Italia and its right-wing allies - the Northern League and Brothers of Italy - is expected to win the most seats in the March 4 elections

    See that; the Northern League?
As mentioned here before someone asks "relevance?".

Oh yes I did read it and your quote isn't from Fullfact is it?
    Did you read that?
We asked Vote Leave for more details of the updated figures, but haven!!!8217;t heard back.
    :p
You're still trying to say that a survey done by someone with a stated agenda can be relied upon to be honest and factual.
    It can't.
    It is (bluntly) propaganda.
  • Yay. Another election coming up signalling the end of the EU. :rotfl:

You really must show us where anyone has said that?

Are you fabricating your own stories now?

Italy's growth BTW is below that of the UK, weighing in at 0.3% in the last 3 months of 2017 compared to the UK's 0.5%
    So who's the "sick man"?
    :rotfl:
  • The EU are drafting the transitional arrangement now and there will be very little difference between that draft and what is signed.

There's plenty of scope for falling out as far as the final agreement is concerned but there should be very little as regards the transitional arrangements. The whole point of them is to pretty much continue the existing relationship until the new one kicks in.
The EU can draft what the heck they want but unless both the UK and the remaining EU27 agree it will remain nothing more than an unsigned agreement.

Whether that final agreement will happen nobody knows.
You can guess all you want but until the deal is done, nothing is certain.

I suspect the EU will get what it wants.
Yes, as they did with the 'December deal'.

What "deal" would that be then?
Where has this "deal" been signed?
It looks like you're not really paying attention to this thread since the fact that nothing is yet finalised has been discussed already.

Obvious. My opinion is it will be signed and will look remarkably like the draft. I've explained why.

Isn't the point of this forum that we discuss what we think might happen? Presumably you think so because you've made your own predictions on the very same subject.
What if it includes FOM, being under ECJ and EU rules.
