Ha ha ha.
The EU's not going to like this.Poland’s prime minister has signalled his country will back the UK on a bespoke Brexit deal, at a meeting with Theresa May in Warsaw in which he warned against “very dangerous” EU protectionism.
"Divide and conquer" looks a bit more promising now. :j0 -
Another EU thorn, Catalonia, looks like giving a few quite a restless night because it looks like the vote will be close!

Has a return to deceit and distraction become necessary because really you have no point to make?
Tell Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania now too that it's your supposed "shallow argument" would you, please?
I'm sure they would be extremely grateful for the time and effort such an insight would undoubtedly save them.
In your delight to find a serious disagreement between the EU and a member state you've allowed yourself to be distracted from the underlying issue.
You did make me laugh accusing me of deceit though, Tracey. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Poland and the rest need to realise that a rules based club like the EU is not a cherrypicking exerecise. The UK will get credit one day for opting to leave rather than ignore the rules and expect to keep the benefits.
Wow! You think there's benefits to the UK being in the EU?
You're right though. If you want to be in a club you have to follow the rules. Don't like the rules then you either try and get them changed/ clarified or leave.
Don't know is Mrs May discussed the Polish power grab today. I imagine she bottled it - she needs friends today - it's an issue that will still be here tomorrow I suppose. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. The DD “impact reports” that did or did not exist have now been published.

I do hope that they are heavily redacted. If they aren't, some are terribly lightweight. Eg fintech gets 4 pages, life sciences 20. There is also a severe lack of numbers and charts in the former. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Yes I think we can all agree with your view that Italy should leave the EU.
And France.
And Germany.0 -

We're sat right next to each other on the fence Ginge. I'm not sure I aired a view that Poland should leave the EU let alone Italy, France or Germany. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Make that the perceived benefits.
I don't suppose there's much to be gained in the UK preaching to Poland at this stage. We'll leave that to the fella's with German sounding names in Brussels. That'll go down well in Warsaw I'm sure.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0
