It looks very much like preliminary discussions around trade are indeed being undertaken ahead of Brexit when these deals can be finalised at last.

Well understand that trade will continue. It will just be hampered and therefore make us worse off.
It would help if you lot could wrap your heads around the difference between 'free trade' and 'tariff free trade', but I gave up on that on page 4.0 -
Talks don't recommence until January.0

The DD “impact reports” that did or did not exist have now been published.

Please note I am not foisting propaganda on to anyone. I provide the link only for information. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Politico reports that Romania may well head towards the same fate.

So if we had a PM and politicians with balls in parliament they would be talking to Poland about supporting them leaving the EU :rotfl:0 -

Other peoples affairs are nothing to do with us. Most interesting aspect of this is the political interference from individuals such as Macron. You have to wonder what his real view of the UK is. Irrespective of Brexit. One suspects would happily kick us where it hurts in order to benefit the French.0 -

Poland is unlikely to leave the EU whilst funds flow from the EU in their direction. That might well change once the UK leaves though.
Once that happens and if the EU continue to foist more and more unwanted regulations on them aided by heavy-handed threats of retribution, Poland's love for the EU could very soon sour.
Much more likely is a split in the EU with former western and Soviet block members gaining power, as has already been suggested by Austria IIRC.0 -

Undoubtedly.
One of the reasons I voted out was to limit the ability of unaccountable foreign leaders to take part in our political discourse.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Poland is kicking back against EU red tape. Is that how you're reading this?
It's such a shallow argument you wouldn't get your feet wet if you walked across it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

They are and still will be post-brexit. Do you think we'll be dispensing with the role of Foreign Secretary anytime soon? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Has a return to deceit and distraction become necessary because really you have no point to make?
Tell Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania now too that it's your supposed "shallow argument" would you, please?
I'm sure they would be extremely grateful for the time and effort such an insight would undoubtedly save them.0
