Hope so. Now Britain has to take ROI seriously. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
It's simple if you want it to be.
The only problem here is the EU. Give us a fair deal and the border becomes unnecessary. If Ireland want to sell their stuff in the UK they should be harassing the EU, not the UK.
Please explain "fair deal"
Is that an agreement on the 100's of issues that have to be decided in phase 2 of the negotiations.
If it to do with trade what is fair? Without the four freedoms the trade deal has to be negotiated product by product. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

We all know what a fair deal looks like. The EU aren't offering it.
If Ireland wish to be an EU colony so be it. They'll have to suffer the consequencesIf I don't reply to your post,

I think there is a little matter of trust spoiling the party. Given Britain's Government don't speak with one voice who can trust what is said. The ROI and the EU want written guarantees. Even "The UK's stated position is the offer of a soft border" doesn't seem to be official.
Could you perhaps post a link to where this has been proposed recently. Thanks.
Google is your friend. I’m not here to do your work for you.
The UK published a position paper on NI and Ireland back in the summer, to my recollection it committed to keeping the common travel area and a frictionless border between the ROI and NI.
To coin a phrase, in what parallel universe would you give written guarantees before the trade talks commence?“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Indeed.
The first of perhaps many instances where the political class in Brussels are expecting the people’s of Europe to suck it up to keep the dream of a federalist Europe alive.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Torygraph reporting that Brexit bill has been agreed.

Not sure about that. At first glance I'd say we're giving too much away.If I don't reply to your post,
