You're saying we could lose access to the EU but EU manufacturers will simply be able to put their prices up?
I really don't know where you remainers get these ideas from.
No Im not. It!!!8217;s very simple. Companies will move if it works out cheaper for them to be located in a different territory. They may save time at borders and money due to additional taxes. That does not mean that they are unable to sell across the border. It just means that it might be more expensive for them to do so.
Champagne, for example, will continue to be available for U.K. consumers but there might be a rise in price.
I really don!!!8217;t know why you leavers can!!!8217;t grasp such a simple subject
Edit: I see that my original post wasnt clear. I meant that U.K. companies could lose tariff-free access to the EU. My mistake.0 -

So you think that if there are additional fees for a company based in the EU to sell to us they will just lose part of their profit margin? Perhaps you’re right. We shall just have to wait and see.0 -

Clearly the answer is for us to slash corporation tax then?
Get a few of those multinationals opportunity to offset their reduced profit margins.
Then we can have a ‘jobs first’ Brexit.0 -

Do you believe EU exports to us will be the same after a Brexit 'no deal.', or will they be fewer? If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -

Where is the product actually manufactured would be my question. The EU is now 70% services and 30% manufacturing. Same issues as the UK with Asia now beginning to take a larger and larger share of manufacturing output. Joint ventures abound.0 -

So rather than the consumer paying extra, the country will collect less tax. I wonder how the chancellor will get that money back.0
