So far I haven't heard the semblance of a plan from most of them, just a long list of things they don't want and a firm believe that if we stamp our feet and say no for long enough the EU will eventually give us what we want.
    ...

This plan business is funny IMO

A well worn Remain complaint is the lack of a plan.

When you point out the EU plans (with timescales) for a United States of Europe, the very same people slag off this plan as scaremongering !

So why do you think the same wouldn't happen to the highly detailed and published Leave plan?

How can any individual judge everyone else on their view of cost of change, before you ask them?.

Well... You could just try asking them.;)

As has been done many times by polling companies, including this one by Yougov on the costs of reducing net EU migration.

I seem to recall a nationwide "poll".

I think we did ask them ;)

If we'd asked them to volunteer to pay more, then you'd be right.

But the leave campaign were quite adamant that wouldn't be the case... ;)

Sunlit uplands where the streets are paved with gold, with free unicorns and cake for all, if you only vote for Brexit.

The leaflet and George Osborne were quite clear on the cost.

GO in fact had it down to £4,300 by the year 2030...per household.

That sounds to me like paying more.

He didn't cover the cost of Remaining if the EU has another Euro crisis, but you can't have everything.

I know it's very James O Brien to speak on behalf of people, but it's that liberal elite attitude which got us into this mess.

That actually made me laugh out loud. The idea that no one from Leave (eg Farage) claims to know what everyone voted for is genuinely amusing. Thanks for that.

All of which were dismissed out of hand as 'Project Fear' by leave campaigners.

Albeit, as the BOE has recently noted, the costs to date are already £900 per household, and we haven't even left yet.

Are you suggesting that there is a plan after all but it’s been kept under wraps? Perhaps that is the case but I don’t believe so. My guess, based on my interpretation of evidence thus far, is that they haven’t got a clue what they want to do next.

It's back to my point about speaking on behalf of others, be it Farage (as you point out) or O Brien.

Of course there can be several plans, but I can't see one plan which will appeal to all. Not one.

It's *exactly* the same inside the EU. There are clearly plans for greater unification, and there are dissenting voices there.

So trying to hold some singular plan as the holy grail is at best misguided.

If there was any time to be calling for plans; it should have been Cameron's team when they proposed the referendum. Anybody in product design knows that it is much easier to fix things at the design stage.

I don't think some of them even realise how much they've been lied to....It's easier for them to believe they are victims of a Civil Service conspiracy perhaps!
