But isn't that pretty much a summary of what Team Remain have been doing since the Brexit referendum was announced?

    Team Leave, too.

Lets face it, no-one knows what's going on.

Interesting. Twice as many would rather leave on WTO terms than accept the chequers deal.

You (deliberately?) forgot to mention that this was a multi-choice question and others would rather postpone Brexit until another deal was reached.

Those wanting to leave on WTO terms are in a minority overall.

    It could be 40% WTO, 20% accept May's fudge, 40% don't know.

Of course Hamish you wouldn't be someone to spread FUD and you are obviously 'in the know' about this.

So could you point us to those multiple choice questions and the full result please?

That's because they don't know the implications.

    Complete nonesense of course.

If it won't be viable for manufacturers to be based here and sell to the EU, then surely it will be equally unviable for firms to be based in EU and sell to us.

If our manufacturers have to move factories to the EU, why won't EU manufacturers have to move factories to the UK to sell us stuff.

Sounds good to me. With a a current deficit in goods of £100BN that's an awful lot of factories coming here soon.

Our manufacturers could lose access to the whole of the EU. Theirs could use access to the U.K. If needs be they would just up their prices to us.

Majority in Commons for Full customs union, looks like that is the way it is heading then?

You're saying we could lose access to the EU but EU manufacturers will simply be able to put their prices up?

I really don't know where you remainers get these ideas from.

Which you say in response to the news that the 4 ERG (led by Rees-Mogg) Amendments have been accepted by May.

Let's zoom in closer, what was the most significant amendment?

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-latest-jacob-rees-mogg-customs-victory-theresa-may-tax-a8449341.html
"The most significant would prevent the UK collecting duties for the EU unless Brussels agreed reciprocal arrangements, which the Brexiteers believe would kill off the prospect".

How did you manage to interpret this as "Majority in Commons for Full customs union"? A citation would be nice.

Commercial suicide. Alternatively they don't export via the EU. After all we are talking about the multinationals in this regard.
