  • Morning,

I've sent £6 to CC3 today. Have cashed out £2.50 from quidco today, so when it arrives in my account that can go across to CC3.
Haven't had any further eBay/gumtree sales recently :(. Going to try and list some new bits this week. Still got all the baby clothes at my mums to sort through, but this has been put on the back burner at the moment, as my dad is unwell. My dad should get his test results back today from a recent X-ray and blood test, so I'm really hoping for good news. Hoping oncologist can at least give an explanation and solution for why he's been so ill :(.

Today we have no set plans, so hoping to manage to give the house a tidy, as well as start the Egyptians project with the DC. I'm currently in my gym kit and gathering enthusiasm to start a workout! Hope you all have a good day :).

  • Thanks Jwil and Abba. Dad's test results aren't back yet :( (it's been 4 weeks since X-ray!). Oncologist is really pleased with his progress, so my dad is taking it as a win. I think I'm still waiting on test results before I can relax about it all. He's been so ill, that my dad's explanation that it could be a simple bug or that he's overdoing it seem unlikely. Anyway, fingers crossed it is just that he's over doing it.

I've rounded down my bank today and sent £6 to CC3. It's DC2s birthday next week and rather than a party, we've booked to go to Peppa Pig world. DC2 has been asking to go back there for the last few months! It will be a nice surprise for her and it will be nice to take our Peppa Pig mad DC3 there.

Today is fairly busy. DC1&2's climbing lessons are back on, so we've got to travel there and then after that go on to their swimming lessons. Need to get organised in a bit and get all bags ready, as well as making packed lunch and grabbing bits for DC3 to play with.

  • Morning,

Dad phoned last night. He's had the blood results back and they're all clear - HURRAH!! So unbelievably relieved! Now we all need to try convince my VERY stubborn dad that he needs to think about himself and reduce his hours at work.

Managed to pay £120 to CC3 today. Balance is now sitting at £7,800, so it's coming down nicely.

Managed to do a walk on the treadmill last night, which I couldn't really be bothered to do. DC3 woke up just as I'd got in my gym gear and got trainers on, but luckily I persevered and did it once she'd gone back to sleep. Felt amazing afterwards. Really want to up my exercise. Feels so brilliant when I have achieved all my activity goals for the day. Just need to force myself when I lack motivation (which is most of the time!!).

  • Thanks Jwil & Abba :).

I haven't managed to get on here for the last few days, as both me & DC3 have been poorly. Luckily I'm feeling better now and DC3 is starting to sleep a bit better, which will hopefully help her get over it soon. Hate it when they have chesty coughs and can't cough properly to get rid of it :(.

Tomorrow we are off to peppa pig world, so today I really need to pack, wrap DC2s birthday presents and make a birthday cake. Although if I don't manage the cake it won't be the end of the world.

I've paid £27.50 off CC3 today. Have sold some furniture on gumtree for £75, so hopefully they will be collecting it later today or if not Sunday. Would be brilliant if it's today, as I can take the money as spending money for our trip away.

DH has been working away for the last few days, which hadn't actually been as stressful as it usually is. He was looking at other contracts working away, but has just been awarded a rather nice increase in his contracting rate at his current place. I am so happy about it, as it'll mean he's home every night and can do overtime without it affecting us too much :D.
