No point in adding anything to that template appeal.

The only reason for sending it is so that it looks like you are trying to resolve the situation should it later get to court.

Your appeal will be refused - do not expect anything else.

Then ignore any debt collectors letters - as described in post #4 of the NEWBIES thread.

UKCPM are a nasty lot, relying on sneak photography to catch out unsuspecting motorists.

Do a Google search on ‘Parking Prankster Heath Parade’ and read what goes on there with sneaky snaps.

Then read this dross from their website. You’ll figure why you’ve been nabbed.

Let’s see them - host on tinypic, imgur, Dropbox or the like, then post a broken url, we’ll do the conversion.

Maybe you should use social media (does he have a Facebook or twitter account) to shame him!

All advice above is correct and as said:

    1) Send the standard appeals template - do not alter it, do not name who the driver was. You are appealing as the Registered Keeper
    2) Gather your evidence, get close ups of the sign and also keep those images of the shutters up and down. (Did the driver originally park when then shutters were down?)
    3) Keep all evidence and correspondence safe in the event you ever get taken to the Small Claims Court about this

If it ever went to court it would also be interesting to see the demarcation of the parking controlled area defined and with that photo proof you were actually in that area.
