I quite simply do not have enough direct debits to open another bank account. Most need 2, some need 3 or even 4. I'd end up losing all money I'm gaining from direct debits going out!

    Open charity ones at £1/month.
Theoritically, in the case of this offer, open 2 before day62, cash out £248 around day 70.
Personally, I'd let them run on or transfer to another account, so the charities are not out of pocket

There are quite a few charities that advertise for you to donate £2 per month. Even if you only gave £2 x 2 for 3 months you would still be quids in....

Tried to login to the web-based B internet banking today and got the following message:

    Hi. Hello.
Apologies, Internet Banking is down right now.

Oops. We’re working hard to update our system and B online is out of action ……… We’ll be back up and running as soon as possible, so please try again later.

It's still down. That's been over 24 hours, which is an unacceptable length of time for any internet banking service to be offline for 'maintenance' IMO.

I would just log in to the Yorkshire/Clydesdale online banking and not worry about the B one...it is in BETA even when it is working so clearly not finished yet.
  • Don't know why people keep say logon using YB/Clydesdale.... that doesn't even let me register for that using my customer number. Unless you were previous customers maybe?

My switch has also taken forever...due 21st.... have no confidence in them.

Right now website is down...app is down so I can't even look at my finances at all.....

This is going to be hit and run job
