Did I miss you choosing an agent? Wishing you luck with it.4

I spoke to the agent last monday - finally signed on ?Wednesday or maybe Thursday? Didn't take them long to start annoying me!
I've done the mowing, so the garden is looking a lot better. I could do with getting some bark chip out of bags and onto beds (for the blackbirds to throw on the grass probably) as it's cluttering up the side of the drive at the moment. I've also watered the hedge and have the sprinkler on the turf. I need to give it all a really good soak over the next couple of days and hope it doesn't die while I'm away. I'm not sure all the hedging plants have made it, so need to inspect the ones I heeled in to the compost heap. but I have a feeling that's pretty dry, so I'm not sure they'll be any better.
Definitely having a 'why am I moving' day. Just thinking that the house is FINALLY in a state where I could relax and enjoy it. Or ignore it and enjoy the garden anyway! And then I remember how tiny the office is, and what a PITA it is being so far from my mum now I have long covid and low energy levels.

Would it be worth you making a list of the reasons you want to move as a quick reference on days when it is seems more hassle than it is worth?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

We've just been up to North Norfolk, saw plenty of petrol stations without diesel. The taxi driver told us he had to go from Sheringham to Norwich to fill up. We managed to fill our Motorhome up closer to Cambridgeshire.Mortgage Free November 2018

Thanks @Staffordia - I'm hoping I'll be able to fill up on the way there... otherwise I may be staying longer than planned!7

As well as the mowing, I've got the greenhouse water butt set up (mind you, I'm not sure how robust the setup will be. It's mostly level after I shifted some soil to put the slab down), laid some slabs in front of the greenhouse where I hope I'll be able to put the staging/potting bench to harden off seedlings - I need to do some more sometime - and then stacked the bags of compost and topsoil neatly on them to help them settle.
I have three bags of bark chip that need dealing with. As I don't appear to have any viewings this week (no emails so far) it looks as if I'll have time tomorrow and Tuesday to get the bark chip down and a few other things sorted out.
Gardening was fairly exhausting, so I'm going to have an early night. Hoovering, floor washing and dusting need doing first thing tomorrow. Along with doing my ID verification (it's annoying me as it wants me to download an app rather than go to a website), signing the search agent contract, and getting started on the packing. And putting the bark chip down... Hopefully I'll fit in some work5 -
Cleaning got done, and bark chip, so that’s tidied up. Just need to deal with the mess where it was stacked up. No viewings tomorrow, so packing up for Easter first thing (including putting things in the car for friends I’m seeing), then any tidying that needs doing. First viewings and photos/EPC etc booked for next Thursday… so have to hope Wednesday is dry for mowing! And Thursday fine for photos (and the new turf not dead as a result of me being away).8

Fingers crossed all goes to plan - exciting times!5

At least if you got stuck you would be able to go and view houses. Silver lining and all that.
Hope the viewings go well, and like Cheery says, exciting times! It doesn't seem like five minutes since last time, but equally we have been here for far longer than I think. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
