Tested positive for Covid - Visible was insisting that I was active/in exertion while lying in bed, so I took my temperature, and as I had a fever, I found my tests. Took less time to get a positive result than it took me to find my phone, get distracted, and set the timer...
Cancelled all but urgent work for the rest of the week. Technically one urgent thing has been cancelled, but as it's public-facing I can't do it without being able to make sense and speak without coughing/sneezing or looking like I'm about to pass out.
Cleaner took the dog for a walk - she didn't want to come into the house and risk transferring germs to other clients, and as it was a nice afternoon that worked out well for all of us. She and Stinky had a lovely hour-long walk - he was good, and she said she couldn't have got lost as he clearly knew where he was going. I'd have paid her anyway as I was the one who cancelled.
Tomorrow's walk has been cancelled. And Sunday's. And the hygienist. Hopefully I'll be better by the time the electricians get here on Monday, but I can keep out of their way - likewise the builders from Tuesday onwards. I'll test again on Monday probably (have 4 more tests).
Radiators and towel rail are in. Plumber is now refilling and pressure-testing the system, so fingers crossed it's all OK. He's off from tomorrow as he's getting married on Saturday and then off on his honeymoon. When he's back he'll service the boiler and do the pipework/radiators on the landing.
I'd planned on doing the CS drop-off and supermarket shop today - clearly not an option for a bit. CS stuff is all in the car though. I don't need any food urgently, although Stinky may need yogurt soon. His rations have been increased today, and he seems very happy about it.2 -
Feel better soon ❤️🩹

On line delivery?? I’ve tried big river morries when I’m a hurry and desperate and been really impressedMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
I think we’re ok for food for a bit. Delivery feels too much like hard work! My biggest concern is Stinky, who will be bored without decent walks and company during the day. I went to bed early last night (only about half an hour), and he was desperate for a wee when I went to let him out!My mum and cousin will come over and walk him tomorrow, and hopefully bring yogurt and bananas for him. I’ve defrosted some BNS, and picked up a whole lot of reduced blueberries the other day, so with that lot I should be ok for his snacks for the week. No point ordering food for me as I’m not really eating (and have plenty of stuff in the freezer anyway). I’m off coffee, so need to make a pot of fennel tea at some point. I also need to open the windows and let some fresh air in.1

That's really kind of you Kaz, but I think we're OK for now. Neighbours have offered to take him, and I can always book the dog walker next week. He's had a short walk today, I've moved downstairs to the sofar, and as it's sunny, I've left the kitchen door open (so obviously he's staying inside!).0
