Two hours is enough to fill my battery completely, so if your battery wasn't completely drained on the 4th maybe that's all it had room for.

I thought I had used 11.5 kWh but that isn't what they paid & I wondered if I had misunderstood somewhere.  It will only charge at 4 per hour from the grid but the shower used nearly 4 too.  I will figure it out I will have misread something.

Remembered that I need to clear out the hall as they're going to be chasing into the walls tomorrow. Obviously it won't just be the hall that is covered in dust as a result - it'll be the whole house. But that should be the last lot of it until the back of the house is started. 

The landing plumbing will probably be fairly messy, but that will be done, and the redecorating done, by the end of November, so I'll have the rest of the winter to get rid of the dust.
