Off today, not feeling too good, but I've managed to catch up on some housework, ironing, washing etc
Feeling quite pleased with myself as we bought 2 fur throws for our sofas that said dry clean only, well today I've risked putting one in on a cold wash and drying it on a cool tumble - and guess what? Absolutely fineSo nice clean throws and no dry cleaning costs.
I'm waiting for the boiler man to come round and service the boiler - no show yet - I hate having people in my house
Well done Catowen on your laptop win
Anyway, better go as I want to do some knitting before I have to collect DD from school.
(((((hugs))))) all roundSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
BLAIRWEECH~ thanks for letting me now will try that at weekend. We have had telephone calls from an Indian company 5 or 6 times a day for weeks. We tried everything to stop them ringing. So last night OH answered and gave them a spiel about how he was recording the conversation to get a harassment case together for the police, and by law they have to remove our details. The Indian woman was rather snotty but so far today no phone calls.
MRSMIX~ love the cake! You really are talented. My auntie used to make novelty cakes similar (not as good as yours!)
Welcomes to MUMOF TWINS~ prepare to be addicted.
STRESSEDOUTMUMOF1~ hugs Hun hope you feel better soon.
Well I feel a bit better today than yesterday. Have a mortgage man coming at 8pm to discuss remortgaging, so will wait till he comes before I panic! Also got an appt through for counselling (next Tues) so that will be good to have someone impartial to talk to.

Love the bosoms Mrs Mix - I know I wasn't the model as that would be two measly fairy cakes.

Evening all,
Feeling more normal(?) today although I slept until almost 11.00...OH will not call me for some stupid reason...thinks he is being nice to me, but I will sleep myself to death if I don't break the habit soon! Had two lovely mackerel fillets for breakfast/lunch then and set off to collect DGS2 from school...forgetting that he is not now finished until 1.25, so OH and I went for a nice walk in the woods...although he was not talking to me as we left asI picked up lots of sticks for the fire....not very MS my OH!
Nothing exciting happening in my world at present....still haven't had my wool from Kemps, had a phone call as I was sitting in the sun on Saturday pm looking down on Alghero marina to say that it was being sent then as it had been returned 'insufficient address'....do I gather correctly that your postal strike is over?? Maybe to-morrow....
Hugs to all those missing...hope that all is well
Aussie, thanks for reminding me that I may need mossie repellant in Oz, they seem to like me lots since my hair went curly!??
Welcome Mumoftwins...you will love it here
