Your posts all sound like my life! Have just school run for DD,DD and DD's friend who stayed over last night plus picked up friends daughter. We have to listen to the Generation Gap on Heart fm each morning, and if the adults loses then the kids all turn on me and say 'you lost Mum'!!! and I wasn't eevn taking part:rotfl: still it brightens up the run to school.

Moving soon so today is more packing. Haven't decided on tea yet - must get my thinking hat on:think:

Anyway off for a coffee before I start:coffee:

Have a good day all :grouphug:

mrs-mix hope the tablets start working soon for you!

Running a bit late, had to pop to a friends house after school run this morning, to fetch a stair gate. Im hoping it will keep the dig out from the area where the cats food bowls are!

Haven't posted for a while as I too have had the dreaded cold from hell. However, I am feeling loads better now and DH bought me 24 season 6 to cheer me up (huge kiefer sutherland fan!). Have to wait in today as my boiler is being serviced. might make some muffins and maybe a cherry cake if i can tear myself away from kiefer  . dinner tonight is burgers and wedgies.
Hugs to all those who need them.

Blooming site just threw me off again.

Not a good night thanks to OH's back and two cats under our bedroom window.

Sheets stripped and in the washer, will go down in a few minutes and put them in the dryer.Coffee morning, then off to stay with my friend, sounds like she has had a bad attack of bronchitis, her chidlren wanted us to go, she is on her own, they both live and work in London. I have to go to Stratford tomorrow to collect some sheet music for her daughters wedding next month.

I am going to get a tens machine, see if it helps OH, he says its not so painful this morning and he seems to be moving easier.

Horrid morning, dull dank and damp, supposed to clear up later, we will see...

    Morning all

Welcome Mumoftwins - good luck with the move.

Pink - You had the same dinner as us yesterday - ours was yummy to - we do love toad in the hole here - DD's request it nearly every day.

Hugs to those in need this morning.

Sun's just poking it's way through the clouds so hopefully it will brighten up in the next hour and I can get some washing out.

Need to dust and hoover through this morning but want to put off washing the kitchen floor as it's still so wet outside - I just know I'll end up with muddy paw prints all over it in seconds.

Got 2 large ikea bags full of stuff to go on ebay so must make the effort to get it all photographed and weighed today for listing tomorrow.

Swapped energy suppliers last night - been looking on uswitch every month or so to check we were still with the cheapest but yesterday I found 3 companies cheaper - one of which was offering £61 cashback on quidco with a saving of £124 per year based on last years usage - didn't need telling twice to sort that out!

Decided to try and look for a christmas temp job, MIL has now moved close enough for a bit of childcare (until she finds a job that is) so I thought it would be the ideal time to get back out in to the workplace - mentioned it to DH and I could see he wasn't keen, mentioned it to DD's and you'd have thought the world was going to end.....determined, I had a look around last night at what's on offer and I still can't make it worth my time and effort, by the time I've taken travel expenses into account and loss of some tax credits and maintenance I'd be working for around £20 per week - the hassle involved isn't worth it - and at the moment I can make £20 per week via quidco/mystery shopping/ebay etc - it's fustrating. Anyway - moan over.

Beef stew and dumplings in the SC tonight - can't wait - love dumplings :D

Hope you all have a lovely day.

No major kitchen update today as I am running off to Birmingham to work for the day in a minute. Electritian is coming in so I should have lovely lights under the units and a fridge that works tonight. I was painting till all hours last night so no more stencills and yellow left!!!

Ate the "extra" roast dinner last night so actually managed to work out the new microwave successfully:D (Dont tell any one though or the offers will dry up;) )

    Right best get going
    Hugs to all
