Morning everyone
I have been going to bed later each night when I'm tired, rather than my usual time, and find that I'm sleeping better so I may keep this up.
((((hugs)))) to all who need/want one.
W**k today then home to do *another* school project with DD. Roll on half-term.
Yellow-sticker beefburgers for DS and DD for dinner today and cous cous with salad for me. Lunch is ham salad on wholemeal and a fruit salad.
Hope no-one is drowning in mail today after the strike. Have a wonderful Wednesday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all, busy day ahead,
Daughters 7th birthday and silly me decided to organize a suprise party for her....Why?:rotfl:
I have bought all the food for the buffet which i will spend all day preparing, have yet to wrap her presents (she doesnt want to open them until daddy gets in from work), i have the house to decorate, and have borrowed a chocolate fountain from my sister in law (who owns a chocolate fountain company) so am only now begining to think of how long the clear up will take!
15 children and as many adults in chocolate heaven, i can see a real mess.
Well i better get started i'll pop in later, hope all have a great day and huge hugs to those who need them xx

Good Morning everyone.
Got the 'day after your birthday blues' today - so will console myself by giving my horse a good groom this morning. House is a tip after everyone visiting last night so will have to attack that this afernoon and then on to the pile of paperwork that has been shoved into a cupboard.
Post just arrived but hardly anything there so must be loads still to come.
Have a good day everyone ill be back later this morning x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Morning all,
Marie, welcome back!
ellie, I hope things are a bit better for you today.
Aussie, I hope dgs bites aren’t too painful.
mrs mix and mioliere, Hugs to you both.
catowen, congratulations on winning the laptop.
N9eav, hope the hangover gets better soon.
Happy Birthday to little miss heavenleigh :bdaycake:
Well, my first attempt at toad in the hole was a great success! :j It rose beautifully with the sausages on top and was lovely and crispy on the outside. I made an onion gravy, and lots of veg to go with it and the kids wolfed the lot down, so it’s definitely one I’m going to do again.
For my Dad’s birthday earlier this year I gave him, among other things, a couple of tomato plants that I’d grown from seed. The weather hasn’t been kind to tomatoes this year and ours have been very slow to ripen. Dad has even less patience than I do, so he stripped his plants bare last week and made green tomato chutney….now I didn’t think I liked chutney, but he brought me round a jar to try and it’s fabulous! So having spent all this time waiting and to see my tomatoes turn red, and just when it’s finally happening….it’s now a race against time to get them off the plants before they ripen! So that’s my project for today. I just need to have a good root around for jars, and go and buy some pickling spice and malt vinegar.
I hope I get a chance to do it, as today is Wednesday…I live in dread of Wednesday’s! It’s the mega homework night with English, spellings, spelling sentence, maths facts (tables) and reading all in one evening! Is it just me or is that an awful lot for a seven year old to cope with after a full day at school? It doesn’t help that it’s beavers/scouts night too, so I need to get a quick turn around meal sorted for them all.
Off to take ds2 to school now…
Have a good day!

Morning all
another clear fresh day here :j ...managed to wake up naturally..befor the road sweeper rumbled past disturbing me...(can't stand being woken up....puts me in a foul mood...need to come round nice and slow.. and preferably not have to talk to anyone for the first hour:p ).... heck knows what will happen if we ever have kids  .. this time of year i can expect the road sweeper twice a week .... still at least they have taken loads of the leafs with them and the street looks lovely and tidy again :T
Well im straying off the menu plan slightly today..as hubby has taken cornedbeef sandwiches to work...so its corned beef hash for tea mmmm may even do some dumplings....my fave :T ..but will only have one..:D
Well i knew it was something that mosquitos could "smell, sense" that made them go for some people and not others..now i know what it is... they love hubby.... i sleep by the window(and the windows never closed) but they still only go for hubby :rotfl: .. so its a plug in most nights.. the only rest hubby gets is if my mum visits...then they go for her instead:p .....
N9eave ...im like hester.. 1 drink gives me the same hangover as 8 ..used to drink and never got hangovers...not anymore..so now i rarely drink.. although a glass of port at xmas is the exception
amiee399... good luck at the dentist... if the noise bothers you..take your MP3 player.. told my niece this and now she says its not half as bad... Have to say i would rather go to the dentist than the hairdressers...
hope everyone has a great day....
Hugs to all, especially those not mentioned:D-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
