We all hear how the bubble will burst. Going to do anything? I sold half my VUSA etf for VHYL still might catch a cold but a much less USA at 40% and naff all techie bits.

I'll keep my portfolio on here the same for academic purposes, but in real life I've upped my cash allocation to around 20% and moved some US Equity index into a Global ex US equity index. I don't hold much in bonds, but I've also swapped some US bonds for Developed World ex US bonds. My nieces have children who are getting ready for university and so I'm giving them enough to pay the fees which I feel is a good reason to cash in some funds at what might be the peak of the market…and if it isn't, at least the money has been well spent.

I've been dubious about the large concentration in tech in VTSAX so here's a portfolio that's biased to value and I'll track that from now on as well

So new portfolio (Bostonlowtech) just moves from the total US stock market (VTSAX) with 40% tech to large cap value (VVIAX).

VVIAX (US Vanguard Value Index) 50%

VTIAX (US Total International Index) 25%

VBTLX (US Bond Index) 25%

This has 6% tech compared to 25% in Bostonerimus.

So if the change was made on July 1st 2026 the balance is now
