Pretty slow month for me, just a 2.3% rise. Not holding Nvidia (up 11%) in any funds and having a higher percentage of Novo Nordisk (down 32%) probably explains the difference.

    Bit of a flat month for TBC15 down ½ % with Gold up 1 ¾ %

FYI this is an average annual return of 9.5%. That has been achieved with literally 30 secs planning the portfolio and 0 secs in managing it over the last 8 years. It's not the best return, or the worst, but it is good enough IMO.

A good month for TBC15 up 6% overall with everyone pulling their weight with the noticeable exception of Fundsmith (its days are numbered)

Digger UKs shinney stash has got its 2nd wind and roars ahead again with an almost 12% return. At this rate I can see him tripling his money by this time next month. TBC15 has benefited with my modest 5.65% holding.

Well folks as we enter our 9th year and thanks for continuing to contribute to this exercise, we could have some interesting times ahead. Probably a Russian curse rather than a Chinese one.

Strange times. Anyone holding a 100% stake in BAE Systems PLC (tools of war) at the start of our exercise would be looking at a 222% return to date, makes you think.

My "Invest Off" unmanaged 50% US equity, 25% international equity and 25% bonds has skewed to 68%/18%/14% so in the real world I'd probably be rebalancing right about now. But for academic interest I want to see what a totally hands off approach does. In the real world I've gone from 5% cash to 15% cash and increased my global equity investments at the expense of US equities, but my 1 year return is still 10% as are my 5yr and 10 yr returns. I'm just waiting for the US equity bubble to burst and glad of my DB pension.
