Sorry missed last month - I was away at the time.

    August

    Ams25 active 60:40: 107159
    VANGUARD LS 60:40: 107050

So still tracking each other, reinforcing the view that allocation is more important than underlying investment choice. If I had allocated technology stocks it would be very different!!

Anecdotally I note that when the market is up the vanguard fund edges slightly ahead and when's its down the active portfolio is slightly higher.

I have studied the claims made here about what folks have. I do get a little puzzled by the amounts claimed.
Given that I accept they are honest accounts, I am concerned that many of you seem to have quite small amounts.
Are they part of larger portfolios? If not I am a little worried that in retirement you may be hamstrung by such low six figure amounts.

And I am speaking as someone who is in a house with very safe pension incomes to enjoy......Just asking..._

Portfolios were rebased to £100,000 as of 29th Sept 2017 to make for easy comparison.

I imagine that there are people on here at very different life stages so the actual amounts will likely be quite varied in any case.
