I've been working away trying to clear the washing and ironing but the weather hasn't been kind. Wet washing hanging all over the house .Meal plan is kind of done – well it's all in my head. C is out tomorrow so son and I are having mince and tatties from freezer and he'll have a pastie when he comes in.

ORGANIZE: Ticked a few things off the list but it's bigger than when I started.

GET READY FOR WINTER: Checked the medicine cabinet. Nothing needed. Bought a supply of batteries as we were running out.

Check there are enough candles and matches and that the torches are working
Look out winter hat, scarf, gloves and boots
Look out tracks for covering shoes for walking in icy weather
Council are responsible for gritting path and lane but might buy some salt anyway.
    .
ALWAYS BE KIND: Today was a good day. I need to remember that C is finding it difficult to come to terms with loosing his sister and that's why he's sometimes moody, depressed and introverted.

NSD: 0/12. Started the spending diary. Although I haven't managed a NSD everything has been needed or is in preparation for winter and Christmas.

IMPROVISE: Always try to do this. I have a partner who can’t stand waste.

STOPTOBER: No rubbish and am drinking the tonic (low calorie, of course) without the gin. It's not quite the same but it'll do. Another bad habit I have to stop is forgetting to take my medication. Must organise it and put it on bedside table so I don't forget.

    EXERCISE: Slightly longer walk today

    ONE MORE TIME: See Stoptober.

CHRISTMAS: I bought my Christmas cards in the RNLI shop when we were away. Could have got some cheaper on the high street but I like to support them.

EXTRA INCOME: Managed one survey. Got screened out of the rest.

    Love your daily inspirations, Mothernerd
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

I have managed two no spend days in a row. Also two days of no alcohol after spending too much time with family last week and drinking every day.
Eating from freezer tonight. Managed to postpone my meat delivery until the end of the month.
Worked a full day. So I will soon be able to pay myself again.
Nothing else on the list yet.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Managed another NSD today - 8/20
Walked 20 minutes and brought my lunch in today.
Still using up food etc. Used up the last of sausages that my friend gave me for my Mum for her dinner today. Using up some orange juice. Hoping to finish the juice this week.
Read my book when I could.
    Grateful for:
Setting a routine in work to keep up to date with something. Hoping this will work out better for me.
Having some quiet time during lunchtime in the staff room as had late lunch and staff went back to teach.
    Learning something new in work.
Managed to book a dental appointment for my Mum and I during half term.

I am being a bit rubbish at posting every day :o
Spent £5.37 at Iceland yesterday on bread, teabags and tomatoes. But I used £5 of vouchers from RM surveys, so that count as only 37p, right :D I have blown my budget, but still keeping track!
Ruined a potential NSD today by having to pay parking for the dentist's :(
Yesterday entailed more parking this time at the hospital, also needed fuel, and we also had a coffee in the hospital cafe as we got there far too early.
Exercise - not much, just 2 walks with mini dog who stops to sniff every couple of yards :o
Extra money - claimed £40 from Onepoll surveys :D That will pay for the majority of my giant meat order which I am expecting tomorrow. Also sold 2 small items on ebay.
Made 2 steak, musroom and onion pies today, and froze one. Had the other for dinner with mashed potatoes and homegrown veg. Still got my brother staying here and eating like a horse
Be kind - well, I am putting up with my brother, and preventing OH from murdering him :rotfl:

:D:D Funnily enough, I am actually a fully qualified massage therapist - and have traded it for things before :)

    Today:
Organise/ Cook from Scratch/ Use things up - used up a ration pack veg korma for my dinner - bland almost like baby food. Improved it by adding heaps of spinach, mushrooms and more spices but still only ok.

Improvise - not really - but did improve the bland ration pack food, as above

    Exercise
    * Week 1 - 3/4
    * Week 2 - 1/4

No specific excersize but I have done a bit of running about.

Going away this weekend and I did most my packing and all my ironing as I know I will be greatful its done later in the week.

Organise: all ongoing with the decorating still

    -Regular: 142/200 no change

-Get ready for winter: got the replacement windscreen wiper sorted for winter today. The electrician fit the external light this morning so I won't fall down the concrete stairs in the dark. Unfortunately despite it being expensive and chosen by me, I really think the light looks rubbish on our newly insulated and rendered wall :(

-Always be kind: think I covered this today

NSD: still at 3/20. I knew 20 days was optimistic but it's quite eye opening just how often I spend even without buy chocs etc at work. Electrician paid, wipers bought, ran out of lining paper for the decorating so had to order more, decorators caulk bought and some ply for a replacement loft hatch

    Stoptober: stuck to this

Exercise: Went to yoga, also more decorating so keeping active.

    Banned: stuck to this

Extra Income: I keep getting screened out of the onepoll surveys so nothing today.

Report in daily: missed 2 days total

I reckon I must be one of the rare ones who doesn't want the flu jab! Dd and I are both offered it, both being coeliac. We both caught the flu (you know, the proper sort where you would watch a £50 note flutter by and not care that you couldn't pick it up; or where you had the telly on all day, when well enough to be downstairs, and be relieved when cbeebies showed the programmes again in the afternoon, as they required less brain power since you knew how they ended!) about 7 years ago now and survived. I've only ever had the flu twice in my life and would rather not have strains of it injected in to my blood! Oops, that wittered on a lot. Sorry!

Today I am grateful for a restful day, for yesterday's trip being successful, for great weather yesterday, for a mild day today, for dh and I thinking along the same lines re our money, for an email from the wonderful school we visited last Sat, for the simplicity of cooking up a job lot of ch drumsticks which'll do lunches for the week, for the phlox making a last valiant attempt to look pretty, for dh mowing (and strimming) the front for me.
