    Could quite possibly be. While doing the filing, there were savings accounts offering 8+% about a decade ago.

    Anybody who bought a 30 year bond during that time is quids in...

    Met an old colleague today. Hadn't seen him in literal years, probably about a decade since I worked with him.

    Transferred everything out of the regular saving to the offset. Almost paid my ISA back...almost.

    It always seems to be the last few thousand which is the tricky bit... :rotfl:
