Pigpen I so know what you mean about job applications/interviews. DS applied for loads of jobs and didnt even get a reply then when he did get interviews he was terrified and made a mess of it. I really really hope something comes up soon.

Sinuses are bad. Feeling grumpy, tired and sorry for myself. Not sleeping very well either. Apologies to those suffering with genuine health problems, this will soon sort itself out.

Most of the housework is up to date, except for a bit of laundry. Really need to order a grocery shop.

Well after a lovely fortnight holiday with DH, one week away and this week being at home.. We have had a bloody thump down to earth today. What a brilliant ending to the week...

I had therapy this morning so wasn't feeling too great afterwards anyway, anyway got home and DH had to go to an appointment. Well the upshot of this is, you all know he has cancer, well we now know what it is.. It's chronic myeloid leukaemia ( I cheated and typed it from the letter they gave me...I would never have remembered it..lol) Apparently it's a rare cancer which is why it has taken so blooming long for them to get round to diagnosing it properly. And this is all because he got a bloody infection in his body during the cellulosis..which he got because we didn't have a doctor and had to go to a stupid drop in clinic who treated it for an allergy.. Even I knew it wasn't an allergy..!!! Now I don't know if I'm scared or angry with our old surgery for his lack of care...

Sorry I had to get it off my chest, and as it's not on FB because I don't want family to know I knew I could come to you lovely lot.

Anyway now I've let it out, I'm going to bed with a book and see if I can have yet another night of disturbed sleep...this is how my sleep has been since before the holiday.. I'm getting quite used to it now..lol

Good news is we are now officially mortgage free...no mortgage payments ever to be paid anymore.. Some good news I suppose..lol

Right.. hospital trip was.. interesting.. waste of time as he wanted to check my innards and I am on my blob.. ain't happening Mr!! Anyway.. the next few decisions are mine.. how much do I want doing?

Off to bed.. need to be at school early for family photo tomorrow.. with Spewy Hackenbark and the Chipmunks!

Morning!

Just back from school - stayed for DS award assembly. Oddly enough his award was for his writing work this week, which I just had to speak to his teacher about someone copying :eek: it must have been good, lol

Got a super drenching on the way home, though. Plus, I have some chazza bits in a [STRIKE]bog[/STRIKE] bag outside - oh dear...

So I've had to change my trousers as they are soggy, pegged them up in the airing cupboard, and made a nice hot coffee. I have college stuff to do today, plus pop to the supermarket for some pack able foods - we have dancing, a party and two football matches this weekend so I doubt we'll get a good meal inside us all weekend :eek:

Good morning all well I add two of my grandchildren yesterday evening for a few hours one stayed over night my lovely clean tidy house was destroyed in less than one hour. Just going around each room today doing bits will leav living room until granddaughter who is not at school today goes home. It has been another good week thanks to regular visits and posts to the forum and the helpful lists thanks everyone.

Sorry work's such a nightmare, Frodders. Holding out to the end of term seems a long time to go, but it will pass and you will be free of the place.

Garden leaves raked for the first time this year, just about to run the vacuum cleaner around the ground floor and then do the shower room. Then I'm going to tackle the minutes I should have done last week. One of the two guests is hard work but hopefully things will settle down next week.

Twinkle is STILL whining.. I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary!

Pixie has a party after school today.. best dig out a gift!

I have 3 ebay parcels to post so I will sort those next.. and ignore the squawking!

Uni here has had its second evacuation in 3 days.. someone discarded their bag sparking a bomb scare.. it's a freaking university!!!! What the heck is wrong with people.. the bag, shockingly, was full of pencils and notepads.. !! Freshers/alcohol/cocaine = this is funny lets all leave our bags in random places!!

OH just been given another interview (to fork up!) ... it is SO frustrating!!

School pics weren't 'too' traumatic.. we were the last family group done.. me running late? never!!

Froddy workplace stress is awful; and there's so little you can do when it's being caused by people at the top. Stay away til you feel equal to dealing with them - and then "Non Carborundum Illegitematus" (Don't let the b******ds grind you down).

Natty Courage, my friend. Finally you have a label on the thing, so hopefully it will be onwards and upwards from here on.

YL Iffy sinuses count as a genuine health issue, so don't apologise. If it makes you feel grotty, you have every right to complain about it. GWS wishes.

Piggers non-forking-up-interview vibes for your OH; I understand your frustration, believe me - I still remember when Mr LW was out of work, and all those applications he put in and never got so much as an acknowledgement. It's so rude, it'd cost nothing for them to just send an email, even if it was so say "thanks, but no thanks" iyswim.

I'm resting today; feeling decidedly rough, and I have Milly & Mia arriving tomorrow at sparrowfart, so I want to be fit to welcome them. Mr LW has kindly Dys0ned up the grot traipsed in by Meg.:A

Hi all

Natty its a small comfort but at least you know what you are dealing with. Thinking about you.

The sinuses are no better. Struggled on at work and got no thanks for it. Will not go in Monday unless I am 100% well.

DS1 dropped off at train station to visit GF at Uni, DS2 dropped off at a mates to go to a party. DS2 thinks he will probably sleep over at the party. A bit of me hopes we dont get a "can you get me" phone call - on the other hand its nice to have them home in their own bed (and under our supervision)!! Will take phone up to bed with me just in case.

DW on. WM on second load. Stripped DS1s bed and will get that hung out tomorrow. Easy day planned tomorrow.
