Morning HHD :) Hope you're feeling a bit better today. There seems to be a lot of coughs and colds around at the moment.

Glad your oven is fixed and hope you're not feeling as stressed out about things now you're managing to cross some things off your list.

Have a lovely day and a relaxing weekend. xx
  • Thought I'd share some 'exciting' news! Thanks to a cancellation, my pre-op visit is next Friday. At last some progress !!!

Hope you get some weekend relaxing in amongst the joy of the working cooker and the continuing urge to declutter - once you're in the zone, there's no stopping is there ?

Thanks TF2 :). My cold has come on with a veneance  but I took a decongestant and some ibuprofen which got me through the morning.

I do feel much less stressed now that we have a working oven and I've finished my assigment :). As you say I've managed to cross a lot of things off my stress list.

Ooh that's good news Elizabeth aboout your pre-op :T. It's the waiting that's the worst. What exactly are you having done? Is it a knee or hip replacement?

I don't think I'll be doing any de-cluttering this weekend sadly as I want to get over my cold and be fighting fit for Monday.

I have exciting news too :D. The school office said they have a bit of a TA crisis at the moment and would I be able to do TA cover on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings :D. So I said "Hell yes!" or words to that effect :rotfl:. My cunning plan is working and I'm weasling my way in :T :rotfl:.

So my goal this weekend is to rest, get over my cold and make sure I'm fighting fit on Monday morning.

I had college this morning and it was my penultimate tutorial. It was on how children play so it was interesting. So two more assignments, one more tutorial, one more school visit and I'll have finished the course :T. The tutor hinted that I wouldn't need the one to one sessions planned for the summer, as they were designed for people who need help to catch up ;). So I'll have effectively finished the course by the end of July :). I wonder if I'll have to wait until October to formally receive the qualification .

After the tutorial I did my lunchtime job and it was lovely sunshine. Then I was given the good news about the TA cover so I'm feeling really excited and elated now despite my cold :D. My long term plan seems to be working :D.

I hope everyone is having a good Friday :).

HHOD great news , I reckon you will be a TA before very long the way things are going. I am glad you have a working oven to cook with. The weather looks lovely this weekend , maybe you could have a trip to an NT place and a stroll in the sun.

How is DS2's holiday going ?

Thank you Sunshine, I really hope so :).

DS3 is in Mexico at the moment and seems to be enjoying himself.

The weather does look nice but I'll probably just meet stepdad for coffee and then relax so I get over my cold. I want to be full of energy for Monday as there's only four weeks left of the term.
