Thanks SA :). We will if it keeps going wrong. I just hope the engineer can fix it tomorrow. We've got no idea what time they're coming so it's lucky DH works from home!

This is what really gets me.
The fact that these companies think we can just wait around all day.

Morning HHD :) What a pain about the oven, fingers crossed the engineer manages to fix it for you.

You are very focused when it comes to your assignments :T Houses are a never ending circle of tidying and cleaning aren't they, it drives me potty at times. Hope you manage to get some of the things cleared/cleaned that are bothering you. Have a lovely day at school. xx

Yes it’s so frustrating the laundry baskets, bins, floors and the house in general just fill and mess up when we’re not looking.....and folk assume we’re the only ones who can sort them....if only the housework fairy existed. My dh is great at cooking and washing up but he doesn’t see the other jobs. It’s going to drive me mad whilst I’m out of action.....
Hope you get the cooker sorted soon.

Thanks TF2 :). I do feel very focused on getting my qualification because it will help me to get a TA job.

  • Our oven is fixed :T :T. The engineer came this morning and mended it. It's really nice to have a working oven and freezer, and it made cooking dinner so much less stressful tonight :).

I did my volunteering this morning and then my lunchtime job. It was sunny spells and showers, but luckily the rain was only light so the children played outside. One of the TA's was in tears this morning due to stress and feeling unwell but unable to feel she could take time off :(. I had a good morning though luckily as I seem to find my home life more stressful at the moment :o.

I finished my assignment this afternoon too and uploaded it so that's a relief too :T. Tomorrow I have college so it's just in the nick of time.

We also rang the student finance people to clarify some things and scanned and photocopied our proof of income to post to them with the Current Year Income form. I really hope that DS3 doesn't get less money because of us getting the pension, because he won't be able to afford to pay his bills or eat otherwise :(.

Last night I developed a sore throat and started sneezing, and I still have a sore throat and my nose is running so I've caught another head cold :(. It must be because I've been feeling tired and stressed and there are so many infections going around the school. It's annoying because my last cold was only three weeks ago at half term.

If I can just get through college tomorrow morning and my lunchtime job, then I can rest in the afternoon and at the weekend, so that I will hopefully be better by Monday.

Hope your son gets a good result with his student finance.

Great news about the oven :)

Get some rest when you can so your cold doesn't progress.
